Hey Chick

Happy Easter/Resurrection Day.  I hope y'all have had a wonderful day.  We had a great day celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus.

I have a few cards for y'all today.  I am going to post them all in this one post so as I can get done posting and go watch the final installment of The Bible on the History Channel.  If you haven't been watching, you've missed a great series.

My first card uses a very cute image from Digi Darla.  I used my BIC Markers to color in this sweetie..

After printing out and coloring the image, I used my nestabilities to cut out the image and the scalloped mat.  I also cut a sentiment circle and mat.  I used Turquoise card stock from Recollections as my base and the mats.  The DP is from DCWV and I used the flowered DP to make the three roses uses my Sizzix rose die.  I also used a small 5 petal flower punch from EK Success for the base of the roses.  I added some Turquoise polka dot ribbon from my stash as an accent.  I hand wrote the sentiment.  I adhered my image using pop dots.

Challenges:
Card Mania --#17  Sketch
Southern Girls--For the Kids
Daring Cardmakers--Springing into Spring
Simply Create Too--#34 Animals
Pink Gem--#73 Make It Cute

My 2nd card uses an image from Avadare and I also colored it with BIC Markers.  I printed out the image on Neenah Super Smooth White card stock.

I used the sentiment from Word Art Wednesday for this week.  I began this card with a 6" square Purple base from Colorbok.  I used Old Olive (SU) as my mats.  The DP is DCWV.  I followed a sketch from Friday Sketch Challenge to complete this card.  For the finishing touch, I used some circle bling from Jolee's.

Challenges:
Word Art Wednesday--Isaiah 55:8
Friday's Sketch--#40

Card #3 uses the progressive freebie image from Imagine That.  It was very easy to add color to this one because it focuses on the sentiment not the images.

I used my BIC Markers to color in the flowers and the butterfly.  I also used a Glitter gel pen to highlight the swirls.  This is a 5x7" card in order to fit all the elements.   I used a premade base for the card.  I used Recollections Yellow as my mats for the DP which is from DCWV.  I added some Orange Gems from Queen and Co to add some bling.

Challenges:
Imagine That--Progressive Freebie #3
One Stop Craft--#222 Easter
Stamping with Dragon--Easter
2 Sisters--Sparkle and Shine

Thanks for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate all the comments that y'all are leaving for me.  Stay tuned tomorrow for the winner of my give away.  God bless  y'all.

News

I have some good news.  I announced a few weeks ago that I was now part of the Digi Darla Design Team.  Well, I have selected to be part of Beccy Muir's Design Team over at Beccy's Place.  If you haven't ever used any of her digis, let me tell you, they are great.  She also has a monthly challenge  where you can win some of her digis.

I also have been invited back to Queen Kat's Designs design team.  After I fell and hurt my neck, I had to step down.  I was really bummed because I love those out in left field images that Vikki carries.  Well, I sent her an email and she invited me back.  Vikki is moving into the digi arena as well.  There are still rubber stamps available in the shop, but Vikki is trying her hand in digis.  Come on over and check out what's new at Queen Kat's Marketplace.

Sassy

Hey there.  Thanks for dropping in.  I have a card that uses one of my favorite designers, Kenny K.  I love his images.  They are so sassy..

I printed out this sassy chic on Neenah and used my colored pencils to give her some life.  I haven't been using my pencils lately because I'm trying to get better with my alcohol markers, but pencils are still my favorite.  I decided on an orange and blue combo. I like that springy look of these two colors together.  I made a 6" square card base from a beautiful blue Colorbok card stock.  The DP is from DCWV and it fit perfectly with the colors in the image.  I matted the corner triangles on a turquoise card stock from Recollections so that they two papers wouldn't mesh together.  The image is matted on an orange panel from Recollections.  All the flowers are Prima and the brads are from my stash.

I hope y'all liked what you saw today.  Have a wonderful Good Friday evening.  We are having a special service at church and my husband is singing.  God bless y'all.

Happy Mother's Day with Love

Hi friends.  I told you I would be back with another pyramid card.  This one is also from Printable Heaven and uses a diamond shaped pyramid.

I used a black and red combo to create this card.  I printed out the image on Neenah card stock and cut it out, used pop dots to stack.  The card base is a deep burgundy from Colorbok.  Both DPs are from DCWV and I used a strip of the same burgundy across the middle.  I added three black fabric roses that I purchased at Hobby Lobby and filled in with black pearls from Queen and Co.  You can't really see the bottom sentiment, but it says, "with love" and is part of the printable.

Thanks for looking guys.  I appreciate it.  God bless y'all.

Howdy y'all.  I have a first for ya.  This is my first pyramid card.  This image is from Printable Heaven. They have over 150 freebies on their blog.  I used one of the freebies for this one and it's called Thistle Sage.

I cut out the images and used pop dots to stack them. The card base is Rich Razzleberry (SU) and the strip across the middle is Old Olive (SU).  The DP is ATD and I pulled a piece of ribbon from my stash.  It's a very CAS card, but I like it.  I enjoyed using this type of image and have another one coming in the next post.

Something Old

Thanks for stopping back in peeps.  I sure do appreciate it.

The card I have for y'all this time uses a stamp from The Stamp Man Nautical set.  I used Memento Espresso Truffle ink to stamp it and DI Vintage Photo to edge it.

I wanted the image to have a distressed, old look so after edging the image with Vintage Photo, I added some ink to the image itself.  I matted it on a nice Gray from SU.  The DPs are from DCWV and have script and postal images in a distressed form.  I matted the DP on Very Vanilla (SU) and the whole thing is on a Gray (SU) card base.  That's it...no gems, pearls or bling.  I wanted a CAS manly card for this one.

Thanks again y'all.  Have a great day!  God bless y'all.

Let's Have a Drink

Hi there.  I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday.  My husband is home today so we have been just chillin'.  I did manage to get some craft time in and now a few minutes to blog.

The card I have for y'all used a cute image from online.  It was one of those freebies I got when I first started with the digis.  I used my colored pencils to color it in and then applied Glossy Accents to the glass.  The drink in the glass is a Blue Raspberry Daiquiri..at least that's what I think it is..

I printed out the image on Neenah white card stock before coloring it in.  I trimmed it down and matted in on a piece of light blue (Colorbok) and a panel of silver card stock (DCWV).  The DPs are from ATD that I found at Tuesday Morning for $1.99.  I just love that store.  I used my Fiskars scallop border punch for the light blue card stock strip.  Adding a piece of lime and some green gems finished off this cutie.

Thanks for dropping in to take a peek.  Have a wonderful Friday.  God bless y'all.

Retro Sketches #56

Today is Good Friday.  My husband often asks me why it is considered "Good" Friday when Jesus died today.  That's why it's Good Friday.  If Jesus hadn't died for our sins today, we would be a lost and dying people.  It's a great day to rejoice and thank God for giving us the gift of His one and only Son.  Today is a day to remember the sacrifice of Jesus' life for ours.  Think about it..how many people would you be willing to die for?  Would you be willing to be beaten and abused until you were unrecognizable as a human?  Would you be willing to be crucified and hung there until you couldn't breathe anymore and died?  I love my husband and my daughter with all my heart, but I don't think I would be willing to endure what Jesus endured for us.  Just remember, those nails didn't keep him on that cross...Love did.

My card for this post features a cute little image from Bits and Bobs.  I used my BICs and a Sakura Glitter pen on this one.

I used Always Artichoke (SU) for the card base.  I then used three different DPs from Gina K's Wisteria Lane pack.  I like the new Designer papers that Gina has started making.  They are a little bit heavier than most of the DPs out there and they are very vibrant.  They come in 6x6 packs of 24.

I also used a nice deep purple card stock (Colorbok) for the scalloped mat for my image and cut both out with my Nestabilities.  I picked three buttons from my stash and used white thread to "sew" them to the card.

Thanks for stopping in today.  God bless y'all.

Love is the Flame

Ok..here we go..onto the next card.  I'm not too happy with this one, but I figure someone out there will like it. I love the digi, just not the card.  I used a digi from Digital Stamps 4 Joy and used my BIC Markers to color it in.

I used a premade card base from DCWV.  I added some old DCWV papers that I had and thought it worked pretty good with this hippie chic.  I added some ribbon from my stash and a few gems from Queen and Co.  The sentiment is from my stash and I used a panel of red card stock to mat it.

Thanks for stopping in to check out my card.  God bless y'all.

Friends are Forever

Hiya friends.  Welcome back.  I have a card for y'all today that  uses a Dustin Pike image.  I changed it up a bit.  Usually the Dudley images are manly, but I would like y'all to meet Dudletta...

This is Dudley's twin sister.  I used this cute little image from the Dudley collection and made "her" pink and sparkly.  I used my Chromatix for this one.  For the sky I used three different Distress Inks..Tumbled Glass, Wild Honey, and Tattered Rose.  I inked the edges just a bit with Vintage Photo.  I matted Dudletta on a panel of Chocolate Chip card stock (SU) and then on a panel of Pink (Recollections)  I followed the Mojo Monday Sketch for this week to make this card.  The card base is also Chocolate Chip.  The DP is from SEI Chocolat collection.  I used a Fiskars border punch for the green border and the sentiment is from a Fiskars set called All Year Cheer.  I used a Fiskars small scallop oval punch for the sentiment.  Adding some green pearls from Queen and Co. finished off the card.

Thanks for stopping in tonight and I hope you enjoyed meeting Dudletta.  God bless y'all.

Living By Faith

Today's card uses a Scripture that reminds me not to rely on myself.  I have a bad habit of trying to fix everything and figure out everything on my own.  Doesn't work, but I still try.  This verse found in 2 Corinthians tells me that I need to live by FAITH.

This wonderful Scripture is from Dee's Bugaboo Boutique.  I just love her word art.  I used a cross from Crafting with Jack and shrunk it down to fit the card.  I used my Chromatix and a Sakura Glitter gel pen to add some color to the cross and then used the glitter pen to highlight the word Faith.

The card base is Chocolate Chip from SU and is 4.25" square.  I used my corner rounder to give it a softer look.  The pink card stock is Recollections and the white is Neenah.  I used two different DPs for this card.  One from EK Success and one from Studio G.  I love the little $1 packs of paper you can get at Wal mart from Studio G.  They have some of the cutest patterns.  I rounded all the corners and inked the verse by running my Chromatix around the edges.  I added a little bit of glitter pen to the DP just for interest.

Thanks for stopping in today.  I pray everyone has a great night.  God bless  y'all.

Welcome back to Em's Thoughts.  It's so nice to be back up and posting again.  I was going stir crazy not being able to do my challenges and post my cards.  You don't realize how much you enjoy something until you don't have it.

The card I have for y'all uses a cute little fairy from Meljen.

I colored this little cutie with Chromatix pens from American Crafts.  I used a scrap piece of Gray card stock from SU that already had the scallop shape in it.  I added a piece of Clear Window Plastic under the gray to make it look kinda like a window.  I made the card base a 5" square and added a piece of light pink card stock from Recollections.  The DP and hot pink card stock are from American Crafts.  I used pop dots to add the focal image and added some hot pink gems from Queen and Co. to finish it off.

Thanks for being so patient with me while I was getting my Internet back up.  I hope y'all have a great night.  God bless

Digi Darla Challenge #54 Easter/Spring

Good Morning friends.  I am here with a card for the Digi Darla DT for our newest challenge.  Our new challenge for this week is Easter/Spring.  That leaves alot open for interpretation.  I can't wait to see what our talented people create for us this week.

I used Digi Darla's Easter Egg Plant 3 for my card.  I colored it with my Chromatix and a Sakura Glitter Pen.

I began by printing off the image on Neenah card stock and coloring it in.  I made a base from Mint Green card stock from Gina K.  The DP is from DCWV.  I trimmed down the DP and adhered it to the front of the base.  I then used the largest scalloped Nestabilities I had and ran it through my Cuttlebug.  I then took a piece of glitter green card stock from DCWV and using the largest plain oval Nestabilities, I ran that through the Cuttlebug then through the Swiss Dot EF.  I adhered the glitter card stock to the inside of the front.  I centered my image, cutting out a bit of the bow and adhered it behind the glitter card stock.  Once I had everything in place, I added another panel of the plaid green to cover the messiness on the inside.

I added some light green flourishes and pink flowers for accents.  The sentiment is actually on the inside.

Thanks for stopping by today and we look forward to your submissions this week at Digi Darla.

Flying By

Howdy again.  I have one more card for y'all today.  Oh and by the way, Happy St. Patrick's Day.  Hope everyone remembered to wear their green..If not..pinch, pinch..

The card I have for today uses a cute image sent to me by a friend.

I colored in the image using my BIC markers.  I made the card base from Basic Black (SU) card stock.  I picked 3 DPs from DCWV and followed a sketch from Mojo Monday.  I used my scalloped border punch from Fiskars to add some detail to the panel of black card stock.  I matted the image on a panel of black card stock and a panel of red DP.  I added two black brads to opposite corners.  The final touches: a piece of red grosgrain ribbon and some red gems from Queen and Co.

The challenge I am entering this card in was 1-2-3...so, I used ONE ribbon, TWO brads and THREE DPs.

Thanks for taking a peek at my work today.  I hope y'all have a great day.  God bless.

Because He Lives

Good Afternoon Friends.  I have a card to show y'all today.  The theme for this one is Easter/Spring over at Digi Sketch.  They wanted to see bunnies, Easter Eggs, Chicks, Lambs or Flowers.  To me, Easter isn't just about the cutesy stuff.  There is a bigger meaning behind why we celebrate the holiday of Easter.  That is what my Easter card represents.

I used a beautiful image from Designed 2 Delight (now From the Heart) and used my BICS and Chromatix pens to color the image.  I picked a sentiment that reflected the reason I celebrate Easter from Desert Diva.  I colored the sash a deep purple as purple is the color of royalty.  I did some white gel pen work for highlights.    All the card stock is from Colorbok and I didn't need any DP for this card because the image itself needs to take the focus.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a great rest of your Sunday.  God bless y'all.

Psalm 68:19

Good Morning again.  I have another card for you this morning.  This one is a very CAS card using a Scripture from Doodle Pantry.

I began this card with a Very Vanilla card base from SU.  It's actually an A2 size card.   I used DPs from DCWV and a strip of red DP for an accent color.  I printed out the sentiment on GP card stock, trimmed it down and matted it on a piece of scrap black card stock.  I tied a black and white polka dot ribbon around the red strip and tied a knot bow.  That's it.  Very simple.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope y'all enjoy your weekend.  God bless y'all.

Under Arrest

Good Saturday Morning Friends.  I hope y'all are on the way to enjoying the weekend.  I have to go grocery shopping today so I wanted to get these posted before I left.

My first card for today features a Kenny K image.  She's a hottie too.

I started by printing out my image on Neenah card stock and coloring it with Chromatix pens by American Craft.  I used Copics and ShinHan Art markers for her skin.  I hand drew the wooden floor that she is sitting on and then cut out the part that was above the floor. I made the card base from Crumb Cake (SU) card stock and it measures 5" square.  I cut a piece of American Crafts DP for the background.  Looks kinda like wall paper right?  I used a few pop dots and put behind the upper part of this sheriff.  I printed out the sentiment from my word processor and matted it on a piece of Crumb Cake.  I added some red gems from Queen and Co. to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a great weekend.  God bless.

Dragon Family

I have one more card for y'all this afternoon.  This one uses an image from Dragon's Lair and I think it's just too dang cute..

I began by printing out the image on Neenah card stock and coloring it with my Spectrum Noir pens.  I then trimmed it down and matted it on a pink panel from Recollections.  I then made the card base 5.5" square out of a piece of Colorbok pink card stock.  I cut a background paper from American Crafts to fit the card base.  I ran the Olive panel through a Darice Flourish Corner Embossing Folder and used my Nestabilities to die cut a square and a scallop mat for it.  The square is from a piece of DP I had in my stock and the scallop square is from American Crafts.  I added some pink gems to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today.  I sure enjoyed making them.  Have a great rest of your day.  God bless y'all.

Fairy Tail

Hello again.  I'm back with another card.  This one uses a freebie from Just Some Lines.  Jenn was sweet enough to give us this adorable image to work with this week.  If you would like to get this image and play along, click on the link below under Challenges and it will take you to Jenn's blog.

I have been on a pink and green kick for the last few days.  There are so many ways to combine these two colors that they have to be one of my favorites.

I printed out the image on Neenah card stock and colored it in using my Spectrum Noir pens.  I did add some Sakura Glitter pen to the fairy's wings.

I started with a 5" square card base using Old Olive (SU) card stock.  I then trimmed down one of the DPs from Cardmaking Magazine.  I used the reverse side to add the pink polka dotted strip.  I cut a panel of mottled green from DCWV and laid is wonky.  The hot pink card stock fishtail banner is also a little wonky.  I cut out the image and used pop dots to adhere it to the card.  The sentiment is from Nina Brackett's Heartily Yours Addition set and I stamped it in Versa Magic Purple.  I used my EK Success label punch and inked the edges with the Purple.  I added two pink pearls for some bling and that finished off the card.

I hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping in today.  God bless y'all.

A Spoonful of Friendship

Hi there.  Welcome back to my blog.  Getting up at 6 am must have energized me.  I got four cards done before 11 am.  I have two more in the process of being put together.

This one uses an image from Meljen's.

What a cute little poodle.  I printed out the image on Neenah card stock and used my Spectrum Noir pens to add the color.  I rounded the corners and matted the image on a pink panel from Colorbok.  I made the card base from the same pink and it measures 5.5" square.  I added two different DPs from K and Co. and the panel of green card stock is from Colobok.  I had those two flowers in my stash so I stuck them on.  I took a Sakura Glitter pen and added some sparkle in different places.

I colored the "icing" on the little poodle's head with pink, but it blends in with the body color in the picture.

Thanks again for stopping by.  I hope y'all are having a great Wednesday.  God bless y'all.

Twilight

Hi guys.  Yep, I said I wasn't going to do it.  I couldn't take on any more..but I caved.  I saw this challenge blog on one of the blogs that I visit on a regular basis and when I saw the theme I knew I had to participate.  I loved these movies.  All of them.  I read all the books first then saw the movies.  As with all books and movies, they left alot out of the movie that should have been in there.  Yep, I'm talking about the Twilight Series.  I'm definitely Team Edward.  I even asked my husband if I could put some glitter in his body wash so that he would sparkle like Edward...he didn't find my humor funny.  So without further ado, here's my card:

All the card stocks are from Colorbok and all the DPs are from DCWV.  I used a freebie coloring page that I found online and used my Spectrum Noirs and BIC markers to color it in.  I then cut around the image and used pop dots to adhere it to the card.  I used my Martha Stewart Circle Cutter to cut out the shapes and the lacy circle was given to me by a friend.  I printed out the sentiment and matted it on a piece of red card.  I made the flower with a piece of box pleated ribbon and a brad from The Paper Studio.

I hope you like my Twilight card.  Thanks so much for stopping in today.  God bless y'all.

Pinched

Good Morning.  How many of y'all made sure to wear green on St. Patty's Day so you wouldn't get pinched?  I sure did.  It was a big deal at our school.  Some of the kids went all out..dying their hair with Kool-Aid, wearing green from head to toe, even buying those plain ole white Keds sneakers and dying them green.  We had a lot of fun with St. Patty's.  Now that I am older, I tend to forget to wear green but my daughter always reminds me when she comes up behind me and pinches me because I'm not wearing green.  This year, though, I'm going to get her.  I'm going to wear green from head to toe.  I'm not dying my hair though ..:)

So, I have one more St. Patty's Day card for y'all.  This time I used the freebie image from Paper Crafting World to play along with their challenges.

The little shamrock man was already colored in so I played with my editing software and just added him to some background elements and printed him out.  The sentiment is a rub on from Royal and Langnickle.  The flower is also a digi from a free kit from DSC.  I added three pennants to the bottom after matting the image on Olive card stock from Recollections.  I inked the edges with Peeled Paint DI.  I used two different shades of green DP from DCWV.

Thanks for stopping by this morning.  I hope y'all enjoyed the cards I had today.  Have a blessed Wednesday and remember God loves ya and so do I.

Welcome back to my blog.  I have another St. Patty's Day card for you this time.  I used an image from QKR Stampede for this one.

This little leprechaun is just too cute.  I printed out the image on Neenah card stock and colored him with Spectrum Noir pens.  I took my blender pen and going in circle, gave him some texture.   I also gave him some dark green eyes although you can't really see it in the picture.  I trimmed down the sentiment and matted it on green card stock from Recollections and used some pop dots to add it to the corner.  I added some glittery shamrocks just for interest.

I made a card base from the same green card stock and added a piece of DCWV back ground paper before adhering the image.

Thanks for stopping in for a quick visit.  I truly appreciate it.  God bless y'all.

St. Patty's Piggies

Good Morning.  Today I have a St. Patrick's Day card for you using a cute image from Melonheadz.

I  just love piggies.  They are so cute.  I raised one when I was a kid and hated to see her go, but those things happen.  The cute little porkers were colored with Spectrum Noir pens after being printed out on Neenah card stock.  I trimmed down the image to 4"x4" and matted it on some Hot Pink card stock from Recollections.  I added a strip of glitter green ribbon around the bottom of the image and matted it onto a green polka dot paper from DCWV.  The whole thing is matted on a Lime Green card base from Recollections. I added a rub on sentiment from Royal and Langnickle and added the little glittery shamrock for some bling.

Thanks so much for stopping in this morning.  God bless y'all and have a great day.

I Lava You

Good Morning Friends.  It's Wednesday already..time sure flies when you are crafting..  Can you believe I am actually posting in the daytime?  I actually fell asleep about 8 pm yesterday.  I had a horrible headache and backache so I took a muscle relaxer.  Yeah, bad move when you've got cards to make.  I woke up about 6am and thought I would get some posting done.  So let's get to it.

This cute card uses Nina Brackett's Heartily Yours stamp set.

I began by making a card base from Elegant Eggplant (SU) and adding a background paper from my stash.  It's pretty glittery, but the camera didn't pick up too much of it.  I cut a strip of Hot Pink (Colorbok) and used my scallop border punch from Fiskars on it.  I then stamped the sentiment in Memento Rose Bud on a strip of white card stock.  I stamped the lava light on a scrap of white card stock, colored in the hearts and bubbles with Plumtastic Purple BIC marker and cut it out.  Using pop dots, I adhered it to the card.  I had these square gems in my stash and thought they would go good with the background, but they were clear.  So, I took my Plumtastic BIC and colored them to match.  It turned out pretty well.

I hope you enjoyed this project.  Thanks for stopping in.  God bless y'all and have a great Wednesday.

Combined Challenge

This card is for a combined challenge between Digital Stamps 4 Joy and Shelly's Images over on Paper Craft Planet.  You will get both images for free if you participate.  The codes to enter for the freebies can be found  Here.

I made this an easel card.  I used a yellow card base from Colorbok and added some Easter papers from Paper Pizazz.  I combined the two images along with a sentiment box from Shelly's and a sentiment from Doodle Pantry.  I colored in this image with Spectrum Noir Pens and BIC Markers.  I added some gems and a couple of chipboard accents.  I had wrote the sentiment on the inside.

For a fun challenge, make sure you stop on over at Digital Stamps 4 Joy and Shelly's Image on Paper Crafting World.

Thanks so much for stopping in and I hope y'all have a great day.  God bless y'all.

Spring Lamb

Hello there.  Thanks for coming back to see my cards.  The one I have for y'all this time uses the Shelly's Image Bonus Challenge image.

I don't know how to color an image to make it white without just leaving it white and I don't like that.  I decided to color this little guy in shades of gray.  I think he turned out OK.  I printed him out on Neenah card stock and used my BIC markers to give the image color.  I used my glitter gel pens on the flowers.  The sentiment is from Doodle Pantry and I put the two images together before printing it out.  I matted the image on Gray (SU) and Pink (Colorbok) card stock and then tied some pink ribbon from Offray around the panel.  I tied a bow and adhered the image to the card.  The back ground paper is from the Cardmaking freebie pack.  I added some pearls from Queen and Co. and then matted the whole thing on a Gray (SU) card base.

I think I might see if I can find a video on YouTube about making a white image look right and make this card over..we'll see.

Thanks for stopping by.  God bless y'all.

Fancy Lady

When I saw this image, I knew I had to have it.  I love it.  Morgan Fitzsimons has some beautiful images and our theme for this challenge over at Scrapbook Stamp Society is to use either an image from Morgan or from Mitzi Sato-Wiuff.  I chose one of Morgan's beautiful ladies.

Isn't she gorgeous.  That Morgan is one talented lady.  This is a decoupage image.  I used pop dots between each layer of the image.  I used my Nestabilities to cut out the ovals.  I inked all the edges with DI Wild Honey.  The DPs are vintage postcards from DCWV.  The yellow card stock is from Colorbok and the base measures 5.5" square.  I added some gold pearls from Queen and Co. to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping in tonight.  I so appreciate it.  Have a great night.  God bless y'all.

Psalm 19:14

The next card we have for tonight uses another Scripture.  This one is a freebie word art from Word Art Wednesday.  This challenge blog focuses on Scripture and uplifting quotes.  Each week we get a new one to use.

I also used a sketch for this card.  Freshly Made Sketches creates new sketches for us to use each week.

I began by making a hot pink card base (Colorbok) and adding a beautiful flower print paper from ATD.  The center panel uses a technique that I learned a while ago.  Shaving cream and either reinkers or alcohol inks.  Swirl them together and place a piece of glossy card stock down on it.  Pick it up, let it set for a few minutes then wipe off the extra shaving cream and you have a beautiful marbled background.

I printed off the sentiment on GP card stock and matted it on Olive (SU) card stock.  I added some vine rub ons, used pop dots for the sentiment and added two paper flowers from my stash.  A few gems from Queen and Co finished it off.

Thanks for stopping in again.  I so appreciate it.  God bless y'all.

Whoopsie Daisy Image

On to the next creation for tonight.  This one uses a WhoopsiDaisy Image.  This is the first time I have ever used an image from this company.  I think they are adorably cute.

I printed out this little cutie on Neenah card stock and colored her in with my BICs and Copics.  I fussy cut around her head and then used my Nestabilities to cut out the rest of the circle.  I matted her onto a scalloped circle in pink (Recollections).  I used another DP from the Cardmaking magazine freebie pack.  I don't know what I am going to do when they are gone.  I really like them.

I made the card base from Olive card stock from SU.  I used the same Olive to mat the pink polka dot DP.  I used pop dots to add the image after I added the bow.  To do that, I used my Cropadile to punch two holes into the image.  I threaded some olive ribbon through each hole, wrapped the ribbon around the front panel and then tied the bow.

The sentiment is from Gina K's Friends set and I added some pearls to finish off the card.

Thanks for staying with me tonight.  I have a few more.  God bless y'all.

Isaiah 40:8

Howdy y'all.  Nice to "see ya" again.  Thanks for stopping in.  I have a few cards for y'all tonight so sit tight, hang on, and enjoy the ride...:)

The first card for tonight is a word art card.  I used a  Scripture sentiment from Dee's Bugaboo Boutique.  I love her word art.  If you haven't ever checked her out, click HERE.  On the right side of the blog postings is a list of free sentiments.

I began by printing out the Scripture on GP card stock. I trimmed it down, matted in on a Olive panel (SU)  and a Pink panel (Recollections).  I then made a card base out of the Olive card stock.  I used two different DPs from Cardmaking magazine.  They came in the January edition as a freebie along with a beautiful stamp set.  I added a border punched piece of Olive card stock.  I added some flourishes from my stash and some ribbon from Offray.

Thanks again for stopping in to see my work.  I really appreciate it.  God bless y'all.
