Howdy everybody.  Hope you guys are enjoying your summer.  It's been so hot here I feel like I am melting some days.  I had a couple of challenges these past two weeks for Christmas cards.  So, I am posting one of them today.  Maybe looking at it will cool me off..lol
Yep, I was right.  Looking at this snow cooled me down.  I can just see myself sitting inside this cute little cottage in front of a warm fire, drinking some hot chocolate, but knowing if I got too hot, I could just step outside for a little cool air.

Thanks for checking out my blog today.  Stay cool everybody.

Day 29

Hello there..It's Day 29 and I have created a Christmas Card.   I had to make a card using "wood" for the theme.  I decided to make a Gingerbread Man card called, "The Perfect Man".  I found the quote for this card and had to use it.  I handwrote the sentiment quote and it says, "The Perfect Man.. He's quiet, he's sweet, and if he makes you mad, you can bite off his head."   I made this one a criss-cross card.  You can find the tutorial for this type of card on SCS under the resources tab.

Day 28

Welcome to my blog.  I hope ya'll are having a great day.  Thanks for taking time to stop by and check out my work.  I truly appreciate it.  If you like what you see, please leave a most welcome comment.  I love to see what ya'll think.

Today's card was completed for a challenge over on The Outlawz.   I had a creative spark to do something I hadn't ever done before.   I fussy cut around the top of the roses and then used my Cuttlebug to cut out the rest.   I also used a Sizzix leaf die and added them around the outside of the focal image.  I really enjoyed making this one and am pretty pleased with the way it turned out.

Day 27

Hello everyone.  I can't believe I have almost completed 1/3rd of the 100 Day challenge.  Crazy, right?  My stash is still pretty big, but my scrap bin is shrinking.  I am itching to order some new stuff, but I am holding tight to the reigns.  I have a $125 bank already, so I figure by the end of the 100 days I will have enough built up to have a really good haul.  That will be a big post..lol

So, my card for today is a challenge for SCS CAS.  I also used wooden embellishments which qualifies for another challenge.  I thought this little princess card turned out pretty darn cute.

Thanks for stopping by today.  God bless you.

I hope you guys are enjoying my posts.  I am having a ball making these cards.  Thanks for stopping by and God bless you.

Day 25

Hi there.  Thanks for stopping by.  I posted in Day 24 that I remade this card because I wasn't totally happy with the first one.  I changed everything about it except the sketch.  I was much happier with this one.  I used a stamp set from Fiskars for this one.  I really like the new Fiskars cling foam stamps.  They are very nice to work with.  I have seen quite a few out and I am sure they will have more coming.

I hope you enjoy this card.  Thanks again for stopping by.. God bless you.

Day 24

Welcome back to my blog for Day 24 of the 100 Day Challenge.  I am having a great time with this.  It is forcing me to think outside the box and use what I already have.  That seems easy, but sometimes it's really not.  I get an idea of what I want the card to look like and then have to search for what I need.  It's so much easier just to go buy it.  But, I'm refraining.  I didn't even stop at the Hobby Lobby while I was on vacation because I wanted to stay on the challenge.  I still need to order adhesive, but everything thing else is off limits.

This card was made for a challenge over on the Outlawz.  I really wasn't sure I liked the way it turned out so I made another one to submit for the challenge.  I will post that one for Day 25.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful day.  God bless you.

Howdy there.  I'm back with a card I call Gnomebody Like You.  I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I laid eyes on it.  It's so cute and whimsical.  I colored in the images and then fussy cut out the gnome, turtle, fence & mushrooms, and popdotted them on top.  I hope you like it.  I know the little girl who received it for her birthday did.

Thanks for stopping by today.  God bless you!

Day 20

Howdy guys.  I have been on vacation, so I am a little behind in my posting.  So, I have day 20 finished and here it is....
This card turned out so pretty.  The stamp is a digital.  I am really diggin' digis.  I hadn't used them before I signed up for the Creative Freebie Challenge over at The Outlawz site.  I am really enjoying using them.   This one is by  Ann Fenton.  I sent this one to my husband's grandmother for her birthday.  Most of what I used was from my stash.  It is slowly getting smaller.  Thanks for stopping by to take a gander..God bless you.

Luna #2

Hey guys.  I have another card for Queen Kat Designs .  I did  Luna in a different way.  I darkened her skin color, which actually made her look better I think.  She turned out pretty good this time.  I left this one pretty clean and simple because there is so much to the stamp.  I added some fiber around the right side of the panel to add some texture.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my project today.  Have a great day.

Day 19

Good Afternoon ya'll.  Here I am with Day 19.  What a wonderful thing I have discovered...Schedule setting on my blog.  WoW..I was able to upload my projects and they would post to my blog even without me sitting down at the computer.  Man, gotta love technology.  It's great!!

So here is my 19th card.  It's a birthday day for a guy at our church.  I used all pieces from my stash.  Even the stickers.  Even though I am using my stash, I swear it doesn't seem to be dwindling.  I guess I will just have to keep at it.

Here is the card.  I hope ou like it and thanks for stopping by to take a gander.  God bless ya'll!

Luna

Howdy guys!!  Sorry this is so late.  We had major computer and internet issues over the weekend and it's still not resolved.  I am at my MILs posting this.  I didn't even have a way to contact anyone and let them know that my stupid computer was on the blink.

I created another project for  QKD this week featuring Luna.  She's a very pretty moon fairy.  I will admit, she's a little hard to color.  There are lots of little details in this one.  The stamp is beautiful, but I did have a little trouble with her. I loe a challenge though.  And I think I beat the challenge.lol.  She has gossamer ings and a beautiful butterfly friend to keep her company and she strolls through th moonlight.

Make sure you take a gander over at Vikki's store and take advantage of the 25% sale going on.

Day 18

Howdy there friends!  I sure hope ya'll are having a great Sunday.  Thanks for stopping by to take a gander at my latest card.  I created this card for a swap that I am in using Trees, Leaves and Branches.  I found this cute leaf  patterned paper in my stash and thought it would work great for this card.  I tried a little something different too with the sentiment.  I had never placed the sentiment on it's side but I think it works for this one.  I didn't color this image in because there was so much color in the background.  I just stamped in Old Olive and left it go.  The ribbon looks white in the picture, but it is actually cream.

Well, thanks again for stopping by.  God bless you.

Day 17

Howdy!  I have another card to show for the 100 Days challenge over on SCS ( Splitcoast Stampers).  It's been challenging sometimes to get them done.  Especially  because I am trying to use up my paper stash.
This was another CAS card that didn't take very long to make.  I cased it from Loll Thompson's Gallery over on SCS for the Featured Stamper Challenge.    I changed the color scheme, number of squares and added scallops to my squares.  Thanks Loll for the inspiration.

Day 16

Hello there!  Hope you all are having a great day.  I had alot of fun making this card.  It is for a challenge over on SCS.  The challenge was to use sunburst.  You were supposed to use cardstock to make the sunburst, but I saw a tutorial on StampTV using ink to create the sunburst and really liked it so I decided to give it a whirl.  I think it turned out great.  I love nautical themed stamps too, so this worked out great.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you guys again here on Em's Many Thoughts.
God bless!

Day 15

Well, I hope everyone had a great holiday yesterday.  We cooked out at my MILs house and had a great time swimming.

Here is my next card for the 100 day challenge.  Isn't she cute.  I love Tilly.  I only have one actual stamp, but have a couple of friends who were nice enough to stamp some images for me.  I really want to enlarge my Magnolia collection.  (As well as quite a few other companies' collections)

This card did quadrupal duty.  It met the criteria for four different challenges.  So, I got much use from this card.

Thanks for stopping by again to check out my work.. Have a blessed day!

Day 14

Since today is the 4th of July, I thought I would do a card to celebrate.  This is probably one of the only stampless cards I have every made.  It is what you call a Clean and Simple (CAS) card.  Just patterned paper, one piece of cardstock and adhesive.  It took me all of 5 minutes to make.  But even though it was so simple, I like the way it turned out.  Thanks for stopping by today and have a very Happy 4th of July.

Day 13

Thanks for stopping by to check out another card for the 100 Day Challenge.  I am really having a good time with this one.  This card was super fun to make.  I did alot of fussy cutting for this one.  I think it turned out really cute.  It's hard to see the sentiment but it says, "Sent to you with Hogs & Kisses"  Cute, right?

Day 12

Hi again!  I'm back with another card for Day 12 of the 100 day challenge over on SCS.  I have been doing really good keeping up with the one card a day.  I have actually had days where I get more than one done.

This card was so fun.  I love frogs so this was a great image for me.  I used Glossy Accents to "highlight" the raindrops and Athony's eyes.  There wasn't enough room on the front for a sentiment so it's on the inside and says, "If you want the rainbow, you have to deal with the rain."

Day 11

Howdy friends!  I did this card as part of a swap over on SCS.  I used three different embossing folders here too.  I added a little bird and a sentiment along with some bling.  You know you have to have bling. I really like the way this one came out.  It's springy but soft.
