Simple Salutations at Mark's Finest Papers

Hello!  Thanks for joining me for another challenge at Simple Salutations at Mark's Finest Papers.  We are so happy you did.

This week our theme is "TAGS".  We want to see a tag or two on your cards.

Your prize for winning this week?

Isn't this a great set.  I love it.

I didn't put my tag on a card, but I probably will go back and do that.  I used two different MFP sets to make this card, and some washi tape.  Still haven't totally gotten the hang of washi yet, but I'm getting there.

Thanks for taking a few moments to come see me.  I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.  I pray y'all have a great day and God bless.

Penny's Challenge #175

Hello friends.  Thanks for stopping by today.  I am so glad you did.  I have some news.  I quit smoking 6 days ago.  It's going pretty well.  I have had a couple of cravings, but I go find something else to do when they hit and after about 5 minutes I'm ok.  The only time that I really miss them is right after eating a meal.  I don't know why the urge strikes me then, but it does.  So, 6 days and counting. :)

Since it's Wednesday, we have a new challenge starting over at  Penny's.  This round, the theme is "PASTELS".  And our wonderful sponsors this week are:

with a prize of 5 digi images for the winner

with a prize of 4 images for the winner

I used Sassy Studio Designs to create my card.  I love these sassy images.  It's a good thing I don't have to pick a favorite digi designer.  I would be in serious trouble.  There are so many that I like.  And the cool thing about being an design teams is that you get to sample them all..:)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a wonderful day and God bless!

The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Steampunk

Good Morning friends.  Today being Wednesday, that means not only is it Hump Day but it's a new challenge at Crafter's Cafe.  Our theme this week is
"STEAMPUNK".  I am truly not a steampunk designer. I can color steampunk images, but do not have the elements to create the card.  I used what I had and this is how it turned out.

I am not thrilled with it, but it works.  I used a combination of quite a few products on this card.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a great day.  God bless.

Tuesday Challenge at Clear It Out

Hello there.  Just a quick post today.  I've been cleaning house, doing laundry and now I'm pooped.  I have a confession.  I hate folding laundry.  I  think it rates right up there with making the bed.  Pointless. You are just going to wear them again and you are just going to crawl back in bed in a few hours.  Yep, those are my two down falls.  OK, I'm sure I have more, but those are the two I can think of off the top of my head...LOL

We have a new challenge over at Clear It Out.  For this challenge, we want to see Purple.  Lots and Lots of Purple.  We even want you to dig way back in your hoard stash and pull out that purple thing you have been hiding.

My mom likes purple, so this is going to her in a few days.  I found those huge rhinestones at Michael's a few months back.  I think they look like starbursts.

Thanks for joining me today.  I hope y'all have a wonderfully blessed day.  God bless ya!

Spring Flowers

Hi there again.  I just wanted to blog the other card I made today.  I am getting ready to go to a fish fry at my church.  We have been doing this for the past couple of years and it is fantabulous.  Tomorrow we have a service for Good Friday then on Sunday we gather together at 8:30 am for communion service to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and then have breakfast together.  What a wonderful weekend.

Here's the card I created:
I used an image from Delicious Doodles to create this card.  I was hoping to enter their challenge, but I missed it by a few hours.  I love Teri's frame images.  They are all so beautiful.

Thanks again for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a wonderful day and God bless.

Springtime is FINALLY Here

Happy Thursday, friends.  It's a beautiful day here in NE PA.  I hope y'all are enjoying beautiful weather too.

I've been working in my craft room today and have created a couple of cards for challenges and two cards for a blog hop that is coming up with Mark's Finest Papers.

Here's one of the challenge cards:
I am so happy to be using Springtime colors.  And then to be able to look outside and see the trees budding, see the soft winds blowing.  What a wonderful sight.  And so fitting with this weekend. The Resurrection of our Lord Jesus, a new birth, a new beginning.  That's what Spring represents to me.  A new beginning. A resurrection of plants, dead throughout the winter, rising again to bloom with the creativity of a wonderful Lord.  Even the land blooms forth in praises.  What a great season.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I am so thankful that you took time out of your schedule to stop in. Have a wonderful spring day and God bless.
