Lion Canvas

Happy Sunday.  I awoke with a terrible headache this morning.  My head feels like it will explode.  I managed to make this canvas to enter it into a couple of challenges.

I used an image from Aurora Wings to create this.  I printed large so that I could color all the details.  I had one canvas left so with the image being so big, I didn't want to make a card out of it.  Adding some ribbon roses, pearls and flowers, I think it came out pretty well.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a great day.  I'm off to take some Aleve.  God bless.

Challenges:
Ave 613--Anything Goes
Come and Get It--Animals

Digital Stamps 4 Joy Challenge #95

Hello friends.  Thanks for joining me today. I completely forgot to blog this card and challenge at Digital Stamps 4 Joy on Wednesday.  Our new challenge is a "Shaped Card" challenge.

I decided to make a side step card for the shape.  I used the image Mom and Girl as my focal.  Adding some papers from Prima and flowers from Recollections finished up the card.

Thanks for joining us this week.  I hope y'all will enter a card or project for this challenge.  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Up, Up and Away

Hello Friends.  I received my new The Stamps of Life die hard club envelope last week.  This month's stamp set is called "Hot4Balloons".  I really like it.  There are some great sentiments in the set.  There is also an accompanying set with more sentiments and designs.

If you haven't heard of The Stamps of Life, you have been missing out.  They are wonderful.  Each stamp is detailed and stamps perfectly.  And they smell divine.  I love to smell new polymer stamps.  They also have the Die Hard club.  You will receive the new monthly stamp and the coordinating die for less than $25 per month.

So, here's the first card that I have made with this new set:

I had to finagle this card.  The example came in the stamp and die set,  and the base is actually a die that you can purchase from The Stamps of Life and it's called the Square Stand Up die.  I do not have it, so I just used a metal ruler and X-acto knife to create the base. The papers are MME and the clouds and sun are part of the die set.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have  a wonderful day and God bless.

QKR Stampede Challenge #94

Happy Friday!  Hope everyone is good.  It's the beginning of the weekend, so that's always good.

Today begin a new challenge at QKR Stampede.  Our sports challenge last week brought in some wonderful projects.  This week, we have a fun challenge for y'all. "Add a cat or dog" or both in my case.

These peace animals are just too cool.  I found these two papers from The Paper Studio in my stash and thought they would work well.  I used glitter gel pens to color in the sentiment bubble letters.

Thank you for stopping by today.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Go Team

Hello friends.  Welcome to my little piece of heaven.  I have been working right along this week.  I have made about 25 cards in the past 5 or 6 days.

I made this card for Sentimental Sunday and Sketchy Colors.

I used two images from Robyn's Fetish to create this card.   I think he's  a cute little baseball player.  I loved the sketch this week.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I appreciate it.  I hope y'all have a wonderful day and God bless.

QKR Stampede Challenge #93

Happy Friday, friends.  Thanks for joining me today.   I love that you have taken time out of your schedule to stop in and see what I have been up to. I love to read the comments you leave for me.  They really mean alot.

Our challenge this week at QKR Stampede is "SPORTS".  I used Little Cowboy and decided on an off the wall idea of sports.  To us southerners, the rodeo is a real sport, so this image fit well.

Remember that we have two winners and a Top 5 now.  So, there are lots of chances to earn digi images.

Isn't he cute?  Do you remember those stick horses that we had as kids? I do, I loved mine.  I rode that thing until the stick fell out of the horse head. Oh the fun we had as kids.

Thanks again for stopping by.  Make sure to jump over to the blog and enter a card into this fun challenge.  Have a wonderful Friday and God bless.

I used an image from Jade Draggone to create this card with a sentiment and shells from an Inkadinkadoo set.  My papers are from Recollections All Year pad.

This card was very easy to make.  Here's a video tutorial showing how to make this card.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #200

Good Morning.  Thanks so much for joining me today.  Since it's Tuesday, we have a new challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown.  Last week's entries were amazing.  Make sure the check the challenge blog to see if you are a winner.

Our theme this week is: Celebrations

Our wonderful sponsor this week is:

Here's the card that I made for this challenge using the digi image "Senior Couple"

I love this image.  Most wedding cards have images of young couples. Sometimes, you need a card for an older couple who decided to tie the knot again.  So, that's why I chose this image.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a wonderful day and God bless.

Clear It Out Challenge #32

Good Morning friends.  Thank you for joining me today.  I hope y'all are having a good day so far.

Today starts a new challenge at Clear It Out.  Our theme this week is an easy one.  ANYTHING GOES.  Everyone seems to like these types of challenges.  I do because it allows your style to shine through.

We have two wonderful sponsors this week:

                                                          Whoopsi Daisy

Here's my card for this challenge, using a cute image from Whoopsie Daisy:

I couldn't think of a good sentiment for this card, so I just left it without one. I figure I can just add a message to the inside for a quick friendship, thinking of you card.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a wonderful day!  God bless y'all.
