Hello.  Thanks for joining me today.  We begin a new challenge today and the theme for that  challenge is "Masculine."  We want to see those cards for guys, whether older men or younger, they are all welcome.  Our sponsor for this week is:

I added a bit of twine to give it a more rustic feeling. I love this sweet image.  The sentiment is Close to My Heart.

Gone Fishing

Hello.  Thanks again for stopping by to take a gander at what I have been up to.  I have gotten another card done, so I thought I would share it.

I used another image and sentiment from Doodle Pantry.  This one is called Gone Fishing.

I really like the way the sky turned out.  I tried something new and it looks like a real sky.  I used papers from a DCWV My Guy stack.

Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #23

Hello friends.  Thanks for joining me today.  I have another card for a challenge today.  Yep, I had some free time so I thought I would make a card.

I used an image from Anji's Antics to make this male anniversary card.  I added a background using a tree stamp from Gina K's stamps, a Fiskar's Border Punch and a hand drawn stream with rocks and grass.

I used my Word program to make the sentiment and added some buttons for a more masculine feel.

MFP's Simple Salutations Challenge # 101

Good Morning.  It's Wednesday, only a few more days left of school and then SUMMER BREAK!!! I can't wait.   

Today begins our new challenge for the week at Simple Salutations and our theme this week is: Father's Day.  Pretty fitting, right, since Sunday is Father's Day.  

                                     

I used two different stamp sets to create this card.  The gears and the sentiment "Gear Up" are from the Gear Up stamp set and the wood background and sentiment are from the Plywood stamp set.  Both of these are new arrivals in the store. And, both of these stamps are nicely sized background stamps.

QKR Stampede Challenge #91

TGIF.  It's been a long week.  Only one more week of school.  I'm so done with 4th grade.  I need a break. But, I had Kierstynne's end of the year parent/teacher conference yesterday and she got a really great report. She is being promoted to the 5th grade, she exceeded the benchmark for reading and is doing really well with math.  I'm a proud momma.

Today starts our new challenge over at QKR Stampede.  This week, our challenge theme is  FATHER'S DAY.   It's coming quick, so here's a chance to get those cards made and have a chance to win some new digi stamps.

I'm sorry the picture is so dark.  I'm not sure what happened.  I think my FIL is going to love this card.
