Time to Play Catch Up

Hello.  I have quite  a few cards to play catch up with.  I am going to post all of them with this post.  No recipes, just the challenge and the card so that I am caught back up.  My friend is coming today to try and get my computer working so that I will have access to my digi stamps.  I'm lost without my pc.

The first challenge is Open Minded Crafting Fun.  Challenge #11 is Fairy Tale/Fantasy.

Our sponsors for this challenge are:

We would love to have you join us for our challenge.

The next challenge is Paper A La Mode.  This week's challenge is an Anything Goes one.  Everyone loves those.   Our sponsor this week is

My next card is for Melonheadz Friends.  Our challenge this time is "When I Grow Up".  With schools letting out for the summer and seniors graduating, this is a great theme.

I used Nikki's "Community Helpers" bundle to create this card.    Our challenges are always for two weeks and I hope y'all will stop by and maybe even join in.

Next up, is MFP's Sketch with a Twist.  Our sketch this week is :

My "Thinking of You" sentiment wouldn't fit on the front, so I added to the inside.  We have a wonderful stamp image up for grabs this week.

I hope to see y'all this week at MFP.

QKR Stampede Challenge #89

Happy Day oh Happy Day!  It's Friday!!  Yeah, I know, why am I so happy it's Friday because I'm a stay at home mom?  Well, I got to sleep in today because Kay didn't have Math Class online this morning.  Yea me!

Because it's Friday, we start a new challenge over at QKR Stampede.  Our Dies and Punches challenges last week brought in some absolutely beautiful cards. If you didn't get a chance to play along last week, you have another chance now.  Make sure to check out the challenge blog to see if you are a winner.

This week, our challenge is "Clean and Simple".  Yep, y'all now how I struggle with that concept.  Well, I did the best I could so here ya go:

Isn't this just the cutest little squirrel.  He looks pretty lonely too.  For the tree trunks, I took a piece of brown cardstock that I had left over from making our family Christmas cards last year and trimmed it down to a tree shape.  It had been run through a wood grain embossing folder.  The tree tops are free handed out of a piece of DCWV patterned paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I appreciate it so much.  I hope y'all have a wonderful day and God bless y'all.

Penny's Challenge #178

Whoot! Whoot!!  It's Hump Day, yeah!!  LOL.  That commercial never gets old.  I love it.  When we went to the zoo a few weeks ago and I saw the camels, that is the first thing that came to my mind and I started giggling to myself.  My daughter looked at me like I had lost my mind.  Yeah, I probably had. :)

So, today being Wednesday, that means a new challenge at Penny's.  Our challenge this week is "Spots and Stripes."  Our sponsor this week is one of my favorites:

My computer that I use to work with my digis crashed last week so I wasn't able to print out my Stamp Art image for this week's challenge.  Luckily I had some of Kathryn's images and sentiments already printed. This card uses one of those sentiments.  The vintage roses are from a free site that I found for vintage images.

Thanks for joining me today.  I hope y'all enjoy your hump day.  God bless y'all.

Ignore the bobby pin that I used to keep the flap closed.  They need to invent invisible bobby pins.  :).

Thank you so much for taking a moment to stop by and visit.  I truly appreciate it.  Have a wonderful day and don't forget to thank your child's teacher (s) for their hard work.   God bless y'all.

Clear It Out Challenge #28

Good morning.  Can you believe that the month of May is almost over?  We will be half way through 2014 in two blinks.  It's crazy how fast this year is going. School is almost over for the year and my baby is going to be in 5th grade next year.  I just can't imagine it.  We have two more field trips with the school before June 17th.  Then lots of fun stuff for the summer planned.

Since it's Tuesday, that means a new challenge has started over at Clear It Out.  Our theme is "Vintage" and our stash item is "Pearls".

Our sponsors this week are

and

I used an image from Stitchy Bear for my card creation this week.  We don't pick which sponsor we want to use.  Our wonderful leader, Laura, assigns us which sponsor to use.  I think that's great because it challenges me to use ones that I wouldn't normally use.  Thanks, Laura, for stretching my boundaries.

Isn't she just so pretty.  I love her curls and her bonnet.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope that y'all have a great day.  God bless.

QKR Stampede Challenge #88

Happy Friday folks.  It's pouring rain here this morning and I have to go out in it.  Kierstynne and I both have doctor's appointments this morning. I would so rather stay in my nice dry house.

Today begins another challenge at QKR Stampede.  Last week's challenge brought in some beautiful projects.  Thank you for joining us and make sure to check the blog to see if you are a winner.

This week our theme is "PUNCHES AND DIES".  There are tons of those out in the crafting world so it shouldn't be too hard to find one you like.

I used the birdhouse digi to create my card this week with a hand  written sentiment.  I'm not to thrilled with my handwriting, but my computer that I use for my digis and word processing crashed.

Thanks for joining me today.  I hope you will join us at QKR Stampede too.  Have a wonderful day and God bless y'all.

Kenny K Challenge #172

Good Morning.  I am so happy to announce that I am going to be a full time member of Kenny K's Krafty Krew beginning June 1st.  How excited am I?  If I could turn cartwheels, I sure would.  And guess what else?  Kenny and Elena are moving here to PA.  Yep that's right.  I'm not sure what part of PA, but I have meeting them on my bucket list. :)

Our new theme for this challenge is to create a "Male" Card.  It can either have an image of a male on it, or be created for a male.

I used quite a few different products from different companies to create this card.  I love when things coordinate like that.  I like alot of different companies and have a very eclectic taste in product so when it goes together well, that's a bonus.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have a wonderful day.  Especially since we are one day closer to the weekend. :)  God bless y'all.
