Challenge #73 QKR Stampede

Good Morning, friends.  Thanks for  joining me today on this beautiful Friday.  We have a new challenge for y'all today.  Last week's "Winter Fun" challenge was a blast and we had tons of wonderful entries.

Our challenge this week is everyone's favorite. "Anything Goes".  I love these challenges because it lets your imagination and creativity run wild.  I decided to make a birthday card for my DT Inspiration.

As you can see, this is a magical card.  He he he.  I used a premade card base from a card kit that I received a long time ago.  Figured I better start using up my stash so that when my spending freeze is over, I can buy more..:)

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope y'all are about to have a wonderful weekend.  You can find both of these images in our store.  Make sure to stop on over to QKR Stampede and check out all the yummy eye candy that my design team sisters have created.  God bless y'all.

Well, do ya???  It's Hump Day!  Yeah!!!!  I still love that camel.

Welcome to my little piece of Heaven on Earth.  I'm so glad to "see" y'all.

I am getting down to the wire with the cards I'm posting tonight.  Yep, that's me, always coming in at the last minute.

The first card I have for y'all tonight uses an image that I won from Meljen's.  I just love Melissa's images.  And guess what??? She's giving away free image of Fridays.  How cool is that?

Isn't he just the coolest?  When I saw this image, I knew I had to have it.  I pulled out some bandana paper and some black and white chevron paper and presto...A Bad Hare Day Bunny.  I think I would like to see this little guy for Easter.

Clear it Out Challenge Blog

Welcome back to my blog, friends.  So happy to see ya.  Today is Tuesday and that starts a new challenge over at Clear It out.  Our entries last week were amazing.  If you joined in, thank you so much.  If not, how about joining us this week?

Our theme: Blues

I chose to use "Victorian Winter Emily" as my image for this card.

Isn't she precious?  I love her, and not just because we share the same name..:)  I could see myself living back in the days where we dressed like this.  Gone with the Wind is right up my alley as far as the clothing goes.  I'm not so sure I would want to live without the running water and electricity though.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope y'all will consider joining in our challenge this week.  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Besties DT Entry

Happy Monday.  Can you believe this is the last week of January already?  The first two weeks of the month were really rough, but last week wasn't too bad and I'm believing for this week to be great.

I am apply to the Bestie's 3D Decoupage team and this is the entry that I created using the sheet that I was sent.

I think she's adorable.

After fussing cutting all the pieces out, I inked around all the edges with Distress Ink Tea Dye. She's put together with small pop dots.  They are only 1/4" thick so she's not huge.  I made her into a birthday tag and used two different Stampin' Up stamp sets, two SU Ink pads, some gems and a charm.

Thanks so much for stopping by and keep your fingers crossed for me. :)  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Challenge # 99 Digi Darla

Good Morning!  It's Monday and the start of a new week.  That means the start of a new challenge at Digi Darla's Challenges.  This week is a photo inspiration.
IMG_3675
Isn't this a beautiful picture?  I just love vintage. So, since our inspiration comes from this vintage photo, I decided to make my card a vintage one with lots of pearls and flowers.

I don't usually add as much stuff to my cards as I did this one, but I was on a roll.  I just kept adding and adding.  The darker, smaller roses I made using a 5 petal flower punch.  I learned the idea from JJ Showers.  She uses a bigger punch, but I went with a smaller one because I think they fit cards better.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and sharing some of your time with me.  I am so grateful for each one of you.  Have a wonderful Monday and God bless y'all.

With Love

Hello.  Welcome to my blog.  I'm so happy y'all could stop by.  It's snowing, again.  I'm tired of the white stuff now.   We are going to hit a heat wave next week though...35 degrees F.  LOL

The card I have for y'all today came out a little blurry.  I took the picture 3 times and it still came out that way.  I think it might have been the shimmery chalk that I used to color the image.

I think this has to be one of the most CAS cards I have done.  I printed out the image from Anonymous Stamps and ran my Versamark pad all over it.  I then took my chalk eyeshadows and colored stripes on the flowers.  I then cut it out with my Marvy Scalloped Heart punch.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I have been up to.  I hope y'all have a great day and God bless.

Lovebug

Hello again.  Thanks for stopping by.  I have one more card for y'all today.  Kierstynne was finally able to go back to school today and since she's homeschooled, I'm one tired Mama.  It's not as easy as everyone thinks to be a homeschool Mom.  It's just as much work as going outside my home.

Kierstynne decided she wanted her hair cut today.  She's had long hair since she was a little girl and I couldn't believe that she wanted it shorter.  The wanted a wispy, angled cut.  Here's how it turned out:

I think she looks so much older than 9 now, but I really like it.  I think I did a pretty good job on it.  Yes, I went to beauty school.

OK..now that I have shown off my mini-me, on to the card.

I used the challenge from Cardabilities #91 Sketch to make this card.  I did change it up a bit because I didn't like all the elements on the same side.  I also followed the Craft Your Passion challenge which is #197 Face the Music.  You have to make a card based on a song.  I chose George Jones' Lovebug from 1965.  I am also entering this one into the Twisted Tuesday challenge this week.  #68 is to use Washi Tape and the twist: use something that starts with a "T", "A", "P", "E".  You only have to pick one letter, but after making my card, I realized that I had all four letter....T is for Tsukineko ink, A is for American Crafts Swirl Stamps, P is for Patterned Paper from the Paper Studio, and E is for Embossing using Spellbinders Dies.  I also used the Recycling challenge at Oldie but a Goodie by recycling the heart shaped brads and turning them into glue on embellishments, and the Created with Love #73 Winged Things challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  This is my last card for today and I will be back tomorrow with some more eye candy. Have a wonderful night and God bless y'all.
