Challenge #12 Clear It Out

Clear it Out Challenge Blog

Welcome back to my blog, friends.  So happy to see ya.  Today is Tuesday and that starts a new challenge over at Clear It out.  Our entries last week were amazing.  If you joined in, thank you so much.  If not, how about joining us this week?

Our theme: Blues
Stash Items: Ribbons, Twines, Fibers

Our sponsor this week is the wonderful

I chose to use "Victorian Winter Emily" as my image for this card.

Isn't she precious?  I love her, and not just because we share the same name..:)  I could see myself living back in the days where we dressed like this.  Gone with the Wind is right up my alley as far as the clothing goes.  I'm not so sure I would want to live without the running water and electricity though.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope y'all will consider joining in our challenge this week.  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Challenge # 99 Digi Darla

Good Morning!  It's Monday and the start of a new week.  That means the start of a new challenge at Digi Darla's Challenges.  This week is a photo inspiration.
IMG_3675
Isn't this a beautiful picture?  I just love vintage. So, since our inspiration comes from this vintage photo, I decided to make my card a vintage one with lots of pearls and flowers.

I don't usually add as much stuff to my cards as I did this one, but I was on a roll.  I just kept adding and adding.  The darker, smaller roses I made using a 5 petal flower punch.  I learned the idea from JJ Showers.  She uses a bigger punch, but I went with a smaller one because I think they fit cards better.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and sharing some of your time with me.  I am so grateful for each one of you.  Have a wonderful Monday and God bless y'all.

The card I have made for this post is a baby card using a cute little giraffe that I found online when I first started collecting digis.  If someone knows who the artist is, please leave me a comment so I can give coups to him or her.

I love this all pink card.  I also want to thank my design team sister Carol Mathrick for my fabulous new watermark.

You Have My Heart

Hello there my friends.  How is everyone today?  We are getting better here.  My hubby is feeling much better, my daughter still has her seal bark cough, but is feeling better.  Thank God.  The only person not getting better is my wonderful father-in-law.  He was hospitalized on Sunday for pneumonia, but it's getting worse and now they think he may have a blood clot in his lung.  They had to increase his oxygen and are trying to find some new medication to help.  His sugar is really high too.  So, as soon as he gets better, maybe all this illness in our family will be a thing of the past. :)  I'm praying.

Today's card uses a Pollycraft image and the bi-weekly challenge from Little Miss Muffet.  This challenge is a sketch challenge:

When Pollycraft went out of business last year, they had a sale for all of the images for like $30.  I bought them all. :)  Isn't she cute.  I thought she would make a perfect Valentine's Day card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I pray y'all have a wonderful day.  God bless.

You Strike My Fancy

Howdy ho neighbors.  Do you guys remember Mr. Roger's Neighborhood?  I loved that show when I was a kid.  I wish they would show reruns of that and Captain Kangaroo.  Those were my two favorites when I was young.  Kierstynne would get a kick out of them.

Today's card follows the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I'm not too good at clean and simple cards.  I have noticed that most of the winners and the projects the DT makes are all CAS.  So, I thought I would give it a whirl.

I used a set of digi stamps from Sweet and Sassy to make this card.  It took me about 10 minutes to make this one.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope y'all have been able to spend lots of time in your craft rooms this week.  Have a wonderful day and God bless y'all.

If you have any questions, please leave me a comment. :)

Toad-ally Wild

Welcome, welcome.  I'm so glad to see ya today. It's still cold here.  Yet, tomorrow it's supposed to in the 60's.  It snowed a bit here last night.  No wonder everyone is sick.  This dang weather has no idea what it wants to do.

I love frogs, so when I saw the challenge at Robyn's Fetish this week, I knew I had to use her frog image.  I also decided to play along with My Favorite Things this week and follow the sketch challenge.

I just love this image.  Don't they look like a bunch of wild guys?  I have an uncle who we call Uncle Frog, nicknamed as a child because he was always coming home with frogs in his pockets, so I may save this one for his birthday.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I know I have been posting alot lately, but I've been in craft frenzy this week.  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #177 Snowmen

He's having a tough time sleeping laying down.  So, off to see the doc.
