Trimgym's Monthly Challenge card

Welcome back to my blog.  I truly appreciate the time you take to come visit me and see what I am creating. It means so much to me.  I also love reading all the wonderful comments that you leave.  Thanks! :)

The card for today uses a decoupage sheet from Trimgym's.  This month's challenge is an anything goes and Jo even let us pick an image to use for this one.  I chose to use the oval decoupage page she created.

I printed out the sheet onto Neenah Super Smooth White card stock and cut it out.  I inked the edges of all the elements with Colorbox's Cat's Eye Purple Ink.  I used two sentiments from the Gina K Spring Mix stamp set on this card.  I turned the small scalloped oval sideways to made the resting place for the easel part of the card.  I think it gives it a bit of interest.  Adding a piece of ribbon and some green gems from Queen and Co finished off this card.
