Giveaway Time

Hello there my Horrifying Hoppers and Wicked Bloggers.  I have decided to give away not 1 but 2 of the projects I have created so far in this hop.  I gave away the Haunted Birdhouse and I sure hope the Vicky enjoys it.

So, the two that I am going to give away are the 8x10 canvas that I created on Wednesday and the 5x7 canvas that my daughter decided to claim, but has since changed her mind since I made another one that uses Melonheadz Friends, Vampires, on it.  So, if you would like to be entered into the contest to win either one of these, please leave me a comment on this post.  In your comment, please tell me which one you would like to be entered for, or both if you like and....yep, there always an and...#1 tell me your favorite altered art technique and #2 tell me your favorite Halloween time movie or book.

I think my favorite movie of all time for Halloween is Hocus Pocus.  I absolutely love Bette Middler in that movie.  She's hysterical.  My favorite book really isn't a book, but a series of books about the Argeneau family of Vampires by Lynsay Sands.  If you haven't ever read her stuff, you have to.  She will have you laughing from start to finish.

So, make sure if you want to enter, you do so by Saturday night so that Kierstynne can pick a winner and I can get these mailed out on Monday.  Unfortunately, you probably won't get them by Halloween, but you can always use them for next year. :)  Good luck

If you want a reminder photo, please see Day 24 and Day 9.

  2. Wow! your work is fabulous I would love to win something! Both canvases are fabulous so I'm thinking enter me in both! My fav Halloween book i'm afraid is a kids one! Haven't read much lately and other than the odd Stephen King or a quick crime novel, nothing really of note! So my fav for reading to the kids just now is Funnybones! As for Halloween movie, Stephen King's It has to be the scariest, something about clowns... just freaks me right out! lol Mo xx

    1. Thank you, Mo, for the wonderful comments. I haven't read Funnybones. I hate clowns and I think it's because of that movie. :). I have you entered into both drawings. Thanks so much.

    2. Of course I totally forgot about the 'altered art' technique - only remembered at the craft fair today when talking to someone about altering something and it triggered a memory! Well, I recently got some gilding wax and enjoying playing about with that, but definately love my mod podge for covering things with paper, working on a wall hanging just now! not very technical but its what i do! lol Mo xxx
