I am seriously late posting this one. I have already mailed it and just forgot to post it. This is my card for last Tuesday's Teapot Tuesday. We are sending thank yous to Barb for all she does. Our tea party went to Evansville, MN last week.
I used a cute Teacher image from Rhoda's called Fauna Teacher to make this card. I used colored pencils and OMS on this one. I trimmed the image down and matted it on a very light bluish gray. The sentiment is from Cloud 9's Stamp America. I stamped it with Versa Fine Onyx. I matted the sentiment on the same card stock as the image. The background DP is from DCWV and I thought it worked perfectly with a teacher card. I matted it on the light bluish-gray card stock too. The card base is a light turquoise card stock from Recollections. I did chose one other DP for the background of the whole card and it is from DCWV. The pearls are from Queen and Co and the little flowers are from Jolie's.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you haven't had a chance to join in the Tea Parties on SCS, click HERE for this weeks party.
I'm also entering this card in the Tuesday Throwdown challenge for this week.
Have a wonderful day. God bless y'all.
Journey along with me as I travel the road of my life. It may not be always an exciting journey, but it is mine and I will live it to the fullest.

You are Beautiful
Thanks for stopping by today. It's Tuesday and just like with the Digi Darla card, my card for Beccy's Place is late being posted. Feeling punk is for the birds.
I used the precolored digi for this card from Beccy's Rose Bouquet set. I loved the colors of the roses.
This was a fairly simple card to put together since the image was already colored. I printed out the image and sentiment and trimmed them down, rounding the corners. I matted them both on black Recollections card stock. The card base is a beautiful Lavender from Colorbok. I printed out a digi paper from online and wrapped a piece of Lavender ribbon around the middle. I used pop dots to add the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping today. I truly appreciate it. Have a wonderful day. God bless y'all.

Party Like a Rock Star
It's Tuesday and I'm late as usual. I have been sick as a dog the past couple of days, so I didn't get this posted on time.
This is my DT card for Digi Darla's challenge this week. Our theme is Let's Celebrate. I used Darla's Dancing Woman and printed my own sentiment.
I colored in this crazy woman with colored pencils and OMS. I added some black glitter pen to her jewelry and shoes. I made a card base using Black card stock from Recollections. The electric guitar back ground is from the Rock Star pad from DCWV. I matted the image on a panel of black card stock and then on a panel of Red card stock from DCWV. I'm not sure what you call it, but it's kinda like mirror like. It's very shiny. I used the same matting combo with the sentiment.
I think she is enjoying her day immensely. I hope you enjoy yours. God bless y'all.

Melonheadz Monday Challenge
Good Morning. Welcome back to my little piece of cyber space. I'm so glad you chose to join me along my journey.
Today is my first posting as a Melonheadz Designer. I'm so excited. I love Nikki's designs and have been using them for a while. If you haven't checked out our site yet, please do by clicking HERE. Every two weeks we have another challenge with a great theme. This challenge's theme is Mother's Day/For a Special Lady. I used the Mother's Day 2011 bundle to create my card.
I think this is such a sweet image. I used Spectrum Noir pens to add the color to this image. I used BGR1 to highlight the image before trimming it and rounding the corners. I matted it onto Black card stock from Recollections. The sentiment is from the same bundle and I also rounded the corners and matted it onto the black card stock.
I found these two DPs in my blue stash bin and thought they matched pretty well with the image. I am going to give this to my MIL for Mother's Day and she isn't a frilly girly girl, so I liked the simpleness of this card. I used a Fiskars Border Punch to die cut the Turquoise strip of card stock (Recollections). The card base is a nice Yellow from Recollections and is 6" square. I added two little flowers that I had in my stash to finish the card.
Thanks for stopping by today. I truly appreciate it. God bless y'all and have a great Monday.
Challenges:

Perfect Sentiments--#76 Mother's Day

Howdy y'all. I have another card today that uses a decoupage from Jo at Trimgym. This one is a beautiful purple iris.
One of the themes for one of the challenge is Rain, Rain Go Away. I didn't use a rain image because when I think of the rain going away, the flowers begin to bloom. Hence, the iris. The flowered DP is also from this decoupage set. I matted the flower panels on Old Olive card stock from SU. The strip in the middle is also Old Olive. I used Elegant Eggplant card stock from SU for the card base. The DP is DCWV. I received this sentiment from a RAK and thought it was perfect for the new flowers that are popping up everywhere here in PA. I matted it on a small panel of Elegant Eggplant. Adding some gems from Queen and Co finished off the card.
Thanks so much for poppin' in today. Have a happy Monday and God bless y'all.

Beauty is the gift of God card
Welcome back friends. It's good to see ya. I have a card for y'all that showcases one of Shelly's Images. Check out Shelly's site here.
One of the challenges I am entering this card in gave us a theme of creating your own background. I used chalks to create the back ground behind the horse. I sure hope that counts as creating your own background. I printed out the image on GP card stock and colored it with colored pencils and OMS. I added some silver gel pen to the bridle findings. I had this cute little fence in one of my Recollections sets. I stamped it three times and cut them out after coloring them with BIC markers. I added them along the bottom of the card and pulled out some little Prima flowers to add along the fence. I should have added some vines, but oh well, my flowers are just floating in air. I stamped the little bluebird and cut him out and added him to the card with a pop dot. The butterfly and bee are from the same Recollections stamp set that the fence is from and I think it's called Garden Gnome.
I trimmed down the image to 4"x5.25" and put it on a Kraft (Recollections) card base. I inked the edges with DI Vintage Photo before adhering it. The sentiment is one I received in a RAK. Adding a few little gem centers to my flowers finished off the card.
Thanks for stoppin' by. I hope y'all enjoy Monday. God bless y'all.

Wild About You
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you enjoy your visit.
I have a decoupage card for y'all today. This beautiful image is from Trimgym's blog and store. Jo has some amazingly beautiful images.
I printed out the decoupage sheet on white card stock and cut all the pieces out. I also printed out the coordinating background paper. I used pop dots to add all the pieces of the tiger together. I had the trees and grass die cuts in my stash so I thought I would use them. I saw this idea over on the Outlawz site this morning and loved the way Deonna Bemish made her lion card so I lifted the idea and used it for my tiger. The sentiment is from Stampendous Changito Duos set. I thought it fit perfectly with this card even though it is in a monkey set.
I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Have a wonderful day and God bless y'all.

Bone Appetite
Good Morning. Today is Monday and that means back to school after the weekend. I will be so glad when this school year is over. I'm done. It's been a very awkward year. Only a few more weeks..I can make it..
I thought I would try my hand at another macabre card. I'm not very good at this type of card, but Haunted Design House has some great challenges. My work doesn't even come close to their design team or even the people who enter the challenges, but they are fun.
The theme for this challenge is Skeletal Remains. We had to use skeletons and bones. I had this stamp set from Recollections in my stash that I purchased after Halloween last year for $1.99. I stamped the skeleton twice with Versa Fine Onyx ink and cut one of them out. I used pop dots to add the cut out one to the main image. I stamped the sentiment and brain on the card stock and then colored the brain with a light ink and did some line work with a red BIC marker. I drew a blood pool to try and make it a little more gruesome. The skeleton has just pulled out this brain so he has blood dripping from his hand. I inked the edges of the image with DI Vintage Photo and matted it on a panel of Red card stock from Recollections. The back ground paper I made by stamping the large skull randomly on white card stock. I inked around the edges of this too. I added some flowers from my stash to offset the creepy image. I hope this works for the challenge. It's way out of my comfort zone.
Thanks for stopping in to see my creepy creation. Have a great day and God bless y'all.

Bella and Skipper Card
Thanks for stopping by today. I have one more card for y'all this Sunday morn.
I used the progressive freebie from Imagine That to make this card. If you haven't played along with Kris' challenges, each month that you play you will receive the next image or images. You do have to purchase the first one to start playing, but after that, they are sent to you as long as you play along.
I started this card by printing off the image on GP card stock and using my colored pencils. After coloring the image, I used chalks to make the sky. It's hard to see in the picture, but there are some pinks and yellows as well as blues in the sky. I made a black card base and matted my image and the flower panel on the same black Recollections card stock. The flower DP is DCWV and the polka dot DP is Colorbok. I used a strip of light blue card stock from Colorbok across the middle. I didn't add any embellishments or a sentiment. I am still thinking of a sentiment for this one. I have a few cultivating in my mind, but haven't decided on one yet. I will add it when I decide on the perfect one.

Trimgym's Monthly Challenge card
Welcome back to my blog. I truly appreciate the time you take to come visit me and see what I am creating. It means so much to me. I also love reading all the wonderful comments that you leave. Thanks! :)
The card for today uses a decoupage sheet from Trimgym's. This month's challenge is an anything goes and Jo even let us pick an image to use for this one. I chose to use the oval decoupage page she created.
I printed out the sheet onto Neenah Super Smooth White card stock and cut it out. I inked the edges of all the elements with Colorbox's Cat's Eye Purple Ink. I used two sentiments from the Gina K Spring Mix stamp set on this card. I turned the small scalloped oval sideways to made the resting place for the easel part of the card. I think it gives it a bit of interest. Adding a piece of ribbon and some green gems from Queen and Co finished off this card.
Thanks so much for visiting with me today. Have a great day! God bless y'all.

Love 2 Create Card
Good morning friends. It's Sunday and kinda dreary here today. It's good to see y'all this morning.
The card I have to showcase today uses a Melonheadz design by Nikki. This card is my idea of CAS.
To make this card, I started with a 4.25" square card base using Red card base using SU card stock. I used a panel of Black (Recollections) card stock as a base for the squares of DP from DCWV. I wrapped some red and black ribbon around the corners and around the middle. Adding a few gems from Queen and Co finished off this little card.
Thanks for stopping in today. I hope y'all have a great Sunday. God bless.

Paper Ala Mode Card 4/27
Good Morning. Welcome to another Saturday at Paper Ala Mode over on the Outlawz. Our theme this week is Anything Goes.
I used an Anne Fenton design to make this card. After printing and coloring this adorable little bear, I used my Nestabilities to die cut the image and mat. I chose Kraft card stock from Recollections as my base and a light blue card stock also from Recollections for the back ground. I had these cute little cupcakes and sentiment from Studio G in my stash so I thought I would use them. I added some color and sparkle to them with Sakura Glitter Gel Pens. Adding some gems from Queen and Co. finished off this card.
Thanks for stopping by to see what I have been creating. If you get a chance, hop on over to the Outlawz Ning site and join us for some fun challenges and great prizes.

Our New Addition
Hello peeps. I just wanted to post really quick that we have a new addition to our family. His name is Charlie.
Isn't he a doll..He is 5lbs and 22 inches long. He arrived today. He is a reborn. Kierstynne saved up her money to buy him and she is so excited to have a little brother. I can't believe how real he looks. We went to Walmart today and had 4 people stop us to look at the baby. They were totally shocked when they realized it was a doll.
Just thought you guys would like to see our Baby Charlie Andrew Thubbron.

Happy Friday, y'all. I have been MIA for a few days. I haven't felt real well so I haven't been crafting..
I have a Queen Kat Design card for y'all today. The artist is Terrell Dorfeo and this is Rockability Chick....
I used my colored pencils for this image. After coloring her, I trimmed down the image and matted it on a piece of red card stock from Recollections. I searched through my stash bin and found these pieces of DP. I think they look kinda retro so they work nicely with this image. I matted each one on red card stock before adding it to the card. The back ground paper is a panel of navy blue from Recollections. Adding a few gems finished off this card.
Hop on over to QKD if you haven't had a chance. There is something for everyone.

Bloom Card
Well, I have one more for y'all this morning. Thanks for hanging in with me.
This card uses a sentiment from Annabell's. I enlarged it to take up most of the card front and die cut it with Labels 10 from Nestabilities.
For the back ground, I used five different DPs from the Colorbok Woodhaven collection. I trimmed them down to 1"x5" and adhered them to a 5.25" square Gray SU card base. After die cutting the sentiment, I used my Crop-a-dile to make two holes on each side to slide the ribbon through. I actually like the bow this time. I have a hard time making my bows look right, but this one turned out pretty well. I didn't add any embellishments to this card so that it would follow the sketch for this week at Seems a Little Sketchy.
Thanks so much for hanging with me today. Have a wonderful day. God bless y'all.

Black, White, Plus One Card
Thanks for coming back to see what I have for y'all. I made this card for the Mojo Monday challenge, but unfortunately, I fell asleep watching Peter Pan last night and didn't get it posted in time. I was pretty bummed, but at least I got some sleep.
I used an image from Sandi Huggett to make this card. I used my colored pencils to add a pop of color to the image.
I pulled out my scrap bin and picked out these four black and white patterned papers to use. They are all from DCWV. I made the card base from GP White card stock and it's 5.5" square. I matted the two DPs with a panel of Black card stock from Recollections. To make the focal image, I die cut it with Nestabilities Classic Circles Large and added three dark red pearls. For the background, I cut each DP in half diagonally and then added them to the card. Adding the black and white pearls from Queen and CO finished off the card.
Thanks so much for stoppin' in today. I pray y'all have a wonderful day. God bless.

Spring Has Sprung Card
Good morning, Friends. What a beautiful Monday this is turning out to be. Even though it's a little chilly this morning, it's beautiful.
I want to showcase a new release and it's available HERE in the store.
This is Happy Mushrooms by Coriander Shea. She creates such wonderfully whimsy images.
These cute little critters are hiding under the 'shrooms and peeking out at us. I think they are looking to see if Spring is finally here. I used BIC markers and Glitter pens to color in this image. I used my Nestablities dies to cut out the images and the mats. The DP is from DCWV All Girl stack. I punched out the flowers with my EK Success small and mini 5 petal punches. Adding some pearls for the flower centers finished the flowers. I printed off the sentiment from my word processing program and used pop dots to add it to the card.
If you haven't checked out the store yet, hop on over and see what's going on. Vikki has moved into the digi realm and has them for sale in the store.
Thanks for stopping in today. I appreciate it. God bless y'all.

If you haven't checked out the store yet, hop on over and see what's going on. Vikki has moved into the digi realm and has them for sale in the store.
Thanks for stopping in today. I appreciate it. God bless y'all.
Bugaboo Card
Welcome to my blog. I hope you are having a great Monday so far. The card I have for you today uses items from my stash to complete this one as well as a Gus image from Bugagoo. Isn't he just a riot?
I pulled DPs from my stash bin to make this card. The image I colored with BIC markers just to give a pop of color. I added some Glossy Accents to Gus' glasses but Kierstynne decided to look at it before it was dry and the Glossy Accents ran down Gus' face. I tried to get it off, but it wouldn't come off. Oh well, it just looks like he's crying now.. I left this one pretty plain and figured I could use it for a masculine card.
Thanks for stopping in today. Enjoy your Monday. God bless y'all.

Best Friends Card
Good Morning, friends. It's early Monday morning and I am up so I thought I would go ahead and post. Kierstynne's first day of PSSA testing is today and I am not looking forward to it. She doesn't do well with tests. She tends to freeze up because she has this whole perfectionism thing going on. I have explained to her that these PSSA don't count against her and aren't part of her grade, but that doesn't matter..it's still a test and she could get a wrong answer. 8 years old and stressing out already..poor girl. If you get a second today, please say a quick prayer for her that she will be calm and do well today. Thanks.
I have a card for y'all this morning that uses one of Sherry Baldy's Besties. These images are so dang cute!
I used colored pencils to give this image it's color. I made this one an easel card so that I could add lots of elements. I made the flowers using a Lala Land Crafts rose die and an EK Success 5 petal flower punch. I inserted pearls into the centers of the flowers to finish them. The pearls and gems are from Queen and Co and Prima. I made the card base from Pink HOTP card stock and added a DP from American Crafts. I matted the image on Old Olive SU card stock. I did add a bit of Sakura Clear Star Glitter pen to the image for highlights.
I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Come back because I have more for y'all today. God bless y'all.

Kierstynne's First Twirling Recital
Good Morning. Saturday night, Kierstynne had her first twirling recital. She has been working very hard this past season to get ready. I was so proud of her. She didn't drop her baton once. She was amazing. The pictures are of Kierstynne and her cousin, Trinity, at the recital.

Auction for Charity
Happy Sunday, friends. I hope your day is off to a great start. It turned cold again here in NEPA and I am sitting here in front of the heater as I write this post.
I have decided to try and do an auction. With all the tragedy and destruction this last week, I feel that I need to do something. I'm not sure how this is going to turn out, but hopefully I will be able to raise some money to send to one of the families impacted by the Boston bombing and one family in Texas.
Here's my plan...I am going to post some of the cards I have made here on this post. If you would like to bid on it, leave a comment letting me know which card and how much you are bidding. The highest bidder wins. I will leave the auction open until the end of the month. The winner will be announced on May 1st. You can send me the money (check, cash, money order) and I will mail you the card. Kierstynne is going to make one too...I will have hers posted as soon as she is finished.
I hope this works. God willing we will raise quite a bit.
Here's the first card..
Card #2
Card # 3
Card #4
Card #5
Card #6
Card #7
Card #8
Card #9
Card #10
Please let your friends know about this auction. They do not have to become followers of my blog, although that would be great, in order to bid. Let's band together and raise some money to support two families.
God bless y'all.

New DT
Hello friends. I have some news for y'all. I was selected to be part of Melonheadz Design Team. I have been participating in the challenges that Nikki has on her blog for a while and have won a few too. I won a challenge on another blog and my prize was digis from Melonheadz. To my surprise, when Audrey sent my prize email, there was a note in it asking me to be part of their DT. Can you imagine how I felt? I was so excited. I was picked to be part of their team and didn't have to apply or go through a process. That made me feel very very special.
Stay tuned for our bi-weekly challenges at Melonheadz and for my DT examples. I think I am going to have to slow down on other challenges since I how have responsibilities to 5 DTs. Busy, busy, busy..
Have a wonderful night. God bless y'all.

Adorable Card
Hi y'all. Thanks for stopping in. I decided to do something a little different with this post. I took pictures of the elements of this card before it was put together so y'all could see what I used..
Here are the flowers before they were made. I used a Lala Crafts Small Rose die and my EK Success small 5 petal flower punch to create them from pink and green card stock and DCWV DP.
Here is the image from Kenny K that I chose to use and the mat for it. The card stock is from Colorbok and I used XCut dies. I used BIC markers to color in the image.
These are the squares I die cut with Nestabilities. The DP is from DCWV and the Old Olive card stock is SU.
I used Fancy Tags Nestabilities to cut these, one in Old Olive (SU) and one in GP White. I trimmed down the white one so that only the embossed center was used.
I cut a panel of DCWV pink and green striped DP. I ran it through the D'vine Swirls EF.
This is the card base. It looks a little elongated but it's just the picture. It's an A2 size base from DCWV and it's glittered.
Ok. Y'all ready? Here's the finished card....

To finish up the card, I stamped the word "Adorable" in Versa Fine Black ink and added some pink pearls from Queen and Co to the corners and green pearls to the center of the flowers.
I hope y'all like this one. I know I do. I think it's one of my most favorite Kenny K images I have done so far. Have a wonderful Saturday and God bless y'all.

Prayers for America Card
Good Morning. Wow, I just happened to glance down and see that it's 4 am. Holy smokes. Well, let's get these cards posted.
As I was looking through my challenge list for this week, I realized that one of them was Red, White, and Blue. In light of what has gone on in Boston and Texas this past week, I decided to make a card as a tribute to those who lost their lives and were injured.
Sorry the pic is a little dark, but hopefully you can see all the elements. This little guy is marching his way across the USA to bring support to those in Boston and Texas. I used my colored pencils to bring him to life. After coloring him, I used my Fiskars Oval shape cutter to die cut him. The card base is Recollections Red and I used it for the mats on the DP also. All the DP is from DCWV. I used the shape cutter to cut out the sentiment oval and mat, also. I hand wrote the sentiment and inked the image and sentiment with DI Vintage Photo. Adding some red gems from Queen and Co. finished off this prayerful card.
Thank you for joining me tonight/this morning. I hope y'all enjoy your Saturday and God bless America!

Just Buzzin' By Card
Thanks for coming back for my third card for today. I so appreciate all the support y'all give to me.
I have a file of unknown digis that I made when I first started collecting free digis from online. I didn't know enough then to rename the digi with the artist's name so I have no idea where they came from. I finally got smart though and started filing them by artist. This is one of those unknown digis.
I colored this one with Chromatix pens from American Crafts. I added some glitter pens to the heart and the bees. I used a Fiskars oval template to cut out this little beehive. I made a card base from SU Old Olive card stock and added a piece of DP from my stash bin. I cut a scalloped border from a piece of yellow card stock from Recollections. The flourishes are from my stash and I used an EK Success mini 5 petal flower punch to make the flowers. I added small green gems from Queen and Co. to make the flower centers. I used a Zig black pen to write the sentiment.
Thanks again for stopping in. I don't know if I will get to make any more cards tonight because I will be gone most of the evening. But, you never know..
Have a wonderful Friday and God bless y'all.

Strong Card
Welcome back. I appreciate y'all coming back to see my second card for today. This one uses a technique called Ombre. I haven't done this one before so it was knew to me. I like the way it turned out though.
I used Colorbox Cat's Eye chalk inks for the background. I started with the lightest blue and ended with the darkest. I took the ink pads and swiped across the card stock to create the flow of color. I pulled a couple of flourish stamps from my stash and inked them with Memento Espresso Truffle ink and stamped them randomly. I trimmed down the card stock to fit the A2 dark blue card base made from Gina K card stock. Before adhering the back ground to the card, I tied a piece of sheer navy ribbon around the bottom. The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart and is matted on a piece of turquoise card stock and a piece of gray card stock both from Recollections.
That's it. Very CAS. I like the look of the Ombre technique and think I will try it in different colors.
I appreciate you guys stopping in again. I have one more, so please feel free to check that one out too. God bless y'all.

Kisses From Angels Card
Happy Friday peeps! It's finally the weekend and mine is full. Tonight I have to take Kierstynne to her last practice before her Twirling Recital tomorrow. She's really taken to twirling like a duck to water. She loves it and she's good. I can't wait to see the recital.
I was able to get three cards done last night, so stay tuned for two more cards.
This first one uses an image from Beansie Doodles. You can find her on Etsy and her images are very cute.
I chose pink, black and brown for my color scheme. That beautiful background paper is Authentique. It's from the first paper pad I have ever gotten from them. I love it. The pink and polka dot papers are from My Mind's Eye. I made the card base from black card stock from The Paper Studio.
I used my colored pencils to color the image. I hand cut the image out into an oval and it's a little crooked, but it works. The sentiment is from A Piece of Heart. I inked both in Distressed Ink Black Soot. I had to add the flower because I made a mistake when I cut out the oval and needed to cover it up. But, mistakes are just creative adjustments, right? I added three black pearls from Queen and Co. to the top to finish off the card.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. Come back for the next two. God bless y'all.

Scripture Birthday Card
Well, looks like I have one more for y'all this afternoon. I used an image from Anji's Antics to make this card and two different sentiments...one from Verses and one from Doodle Pantry.
I used my colored pencils to give life to this beautiful lady in her spiffy hat. I made a 6" card base from Light Blue Colorbok card stock. I pulled a piece of K and Co DP from my stash bin to make the corner piece and the banners. The mats for image and sentiment are a blue metallic from DCWV. Adding some gems finished off the card.
Thanks for stopping in. Y'all have a blessed night.

Welcome. So happy to see y'all again. I hope you enjoy your visit.
This card features Scripture Word Art from Dee's Bugaboo Boutique.
I began by printing out the sentiment on GP card stock. I trimmed it down and matted it on a marbled blue card stock that used to be a pocket in a bill paying folder. I made a 5" square card base from Yellow card stock from Recollections. I trimmed down a blue cloud DP from Colorbok as the background. I cut a strip of flower paper and used a Fiskars scalloped border punch on it. I cut a thin strip of the same yellow card stock for the "ribbon" trim. I used the same flower DP for the panel and matted it on the yellow card stock. Adding the little daisy flower finished off the card.
Thank you so much for visiting me today. Come back soon! God bless y'all.
