Well my Horrifying Hoppers, the time has come. Today is the last day of our month long hop. I can't believe it has been a whole month already. Man, I guess it's true what they say...Time flies when you are having fun.
Before I show you what I have created for today, I have to say Happy Birthday to my wonderful hubby. Yep, he's a Halloween baby. He turns 36 today! He's edging closer to the age I am now..lol Happy Birthday honey. I love you!
So, I had 6 images that I wanted to use, but didn't have enough days to use them. So, I decided at the last minute to make a little 5x5 chipboard book. My idea was bigger than the time I had available. I still have to go back and do some embellishing, but I have the basics done.
This is kind of a long post so grab a cuppa and get comfortable.
This is the first page using a Delicious Doodles image that I won earlier in the Scavenger Hunt. I used Crayola colored pencils and OMS. The paper is from a piece of Teresa Collins collage paper that I cut apart, inked and added randomly. The sentiment says, "Blue eyes can be very deceptive. We can be sweet as as blue summer sky, but make sure you run if they turn dark and stormy."
The backside of this page is an image from Jade Draggone. I used the same coloring medium but added some Glossy Accents to the lantern.
I haven't come up with a sentiment for this one yet. My brain was getting tired. :)
Page 3 uses another image from Jade Draggone. I used alcohol markers on this one. I fussy cut her out and inked the edges with DI Vintage Photo. The sentiment says, "Don't ever let anyone make you feel like you have to fit a mold. You are an individual! You are special just the way you are. Don't change just to please someone else!" The paper is from Recollections.
Page 4 uses a Heather Valentin image colored with alcohol markers. The papers are from DCWV and the sentiment reads, "Everyone needs that one friend who loves you regardless. Nothing can break the bond of that friendship!!"
Page 5 uses a RSD image and a Teresa Collins paper. This beautiful lady is colored with Crayola colored pencils and OMS. She's fussy cut and inked with DI Vintage Photo. Sentiment is, "Always listen to yourself. You don't always need someone else to give you advice. You are your own best advice giver!"
And, Page 6 is another RSD image. I love this witch. I colored her with Crayola and I am a heavy handed colorer, so I used a kneadable eraser to remove some of the black on her dress. This one uses DCWV paper and the sentiment says, "Some days you just have to let your inner witch out!"
Tomorrow I am going to try and make the covers for this book and put it together. But, whenever I do get it finished, I am going to post the completed book.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU to every one of you who left comments on my blog these past 31 days. Your wonderful comments kept me going when I wanted to throw in the towel. I truly appreciate the time that you spent looking at my creations. I have had such a wonderful time making these "out of my comfort zone" creations and sharing them with all of you. I have "followed" I think all of the Wicked Bloggers blogs. I want to make sure that I keep up with what all of you are creating. I have my favorite artists, as all of us do, and I don't want to lose track of y'all. I have learned so much this past month and have an arsenal of ideas to try in the upcoming months. Because of this blog hop, I am now a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and am starting a new avenue in my life. I hope I can make it succeed, but if not, hey, a discount on Stampin' Up is always good, right.
Make sure to stay tuned to Terra's blog in the next few days for the remaining winners of the Scavenger Hunt as well as the grand prize winner...Oh I so want to win...my daughter wants the pj's..LOL. Take care, stay well and keep on cranking out those amazing projects.!!
Journey along with me as I travel the road of my life. It may not be always an exciting journey, but it is mine and I will live it to the fullest.
2014 Life Verse
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6

Day 30 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Welcome to Day 30. As we come to the close of this month long extravaganza, I have a quick little ATC that I made in about all of 5 minutes. With my daughter being sick, I didn't have alot of time to craft the past couple of days. So, here goes.
I used a background paper from Bearly Mine, which was a freebie. I printed it out at ATC size and adhered it to a piece of cereal box. I inked around the edges with Vintage Photo DI. The stamp is a digi that I found for free online through a free image search. I like that wise old owl. I printed it at about 1.5"x2" and inked the edges again with DI Vintage Photo. I added a sentiment from my stash and some black pearls.
Very quick and easy today. Make sure to stop by Terra's blog to check out the sponsors for today and the winners. See ya tomorrow for our last day of this wonderful hop.

Day 29 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Hello friends. Welcome to Day 29. Only 2 more to go. I don't know whether to be sad or happy. It's been one heck of a haul, hasn't it? I've loved every minute of it though.
Today's offering is a "S" fold or "Z" fold card, depends on how you first learned it. I used two of Delicious Doodles images, The Graveyard and Vampiress. At first, I was going to add her to the scene with pop dots, but the more I looked at the graveyard, I realized I didn't want to cover it up. So, I made the "Z" fold card.
I did some shading on the graveyard with eyeshadow. Yep, that's right. Eyeshadow. It makes wonderful chalk. Plus, it adds some shimmer. I found some great palettes of eyeshadow at Walgreen's for $1 each. One even had black in it. So, I shaded the sky with black and purple and the ground with shades of brown. Some of the grave stones have a opalescent shimmer to them. Vampiress is colored with Crayola colored pencils and OMS. She looks a little light, but that's just the camera. The sentiment is from my computer. I added the journaling space to the inside of the fold so as not to cover up the graveyard. I added a few little Martha Stewart glitter bats to finish it off.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope y'all enjoyed your stop here along this great hop. Make sure to stop by Terra's blog for the winners of the Scavenger Hunt, today's sponsors and a refresher on the rules if you need them. I'm assuming that by this time, you know them by heart. :) See ya tomorrow for Day 30.
I'm going to enter this card in the Left of Center challenge for this fortnight.

Giveaway Winners.
Hello there my friends. I am posting today to reveal the winners of the giveaway. My daughter has tracheal bronchitis, so she isn't feeling so well. So, that leaves me to pick the winners. I'm sorry that these won't make it to your homes' until after Halloween, but you will have it for next year..right??:)
I put all three names in a bowl and drew two winners. So, since both of you wanted in the drawing for both items, the first person to email me with your address gets to pick which one you would like to have.
So, the two items were the Green and Black 8x10 canvas and the 5x7 Rick St. Dennis images canvas. Here we goooooo!!!!!
The two winners are:
Mo and Lisa. Congrats ladies.
I will be watching my email to see who contacts me first. My email is timandem2000atyahoodotcom.

Day 28 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Howdy folks. Thanks so much for hanging in with us during this month long hop sponsored by Smeared and Smudged. Make sure to hop on over to Terra's blog (first stop on the blog roll to the right) for a list of sponsors, winners, and rules.
First off, I would like to wish my Granny a wonderful, spectacular, fantabulous 90th birthday today. I wish I could be with you, Granny, but I'm thinking of you. My granny lives in Virginia and I live in Pennsylvania and I just am not financially able to go visit. I miss her and hope she has a great day!
Today's card is in honor of my Granny. She's a princess but when I was growing up, boy could she be a witch. I know now that everything she did, she did it for my benefit. But, you know how us teens can be.
Thanks, Granny, for loving me enough to be tough on me.
This little cutie is from Cuttlebug Cuties. Anna Stillwell has some of the most beautiful images. I colored her with colored pencils and OMS and added some glitter to her bodice. The papers are some oldies from DCWV. I printed out the sentiment from my Word Processing program and added some black rhinestones to finish it off.
Since Granny's birthday is so close to Halloween, I am using this card as her birthday card. On the inside it says, "That spell is for a Happy Birthday."
Thanks again for stopping by today. Only 3 more days to go. Hang in there and keep hopping. :)

Mondays with Digi Darla
Welcome back to another episode of Mondays with Digi Darla. It's almost Halloween here in the states and our challenge this week is very fitting. Use a Halloween image that fits a Halloween Movie. With so many spooky, creepy movies out there, you have quite a vast array to choose from. I chose the movie Twilight. Yep, that's right...I'm so totally Team Edward. There is just something sexy about a sparkling vampire. And it helps that Robert Pattinson has that sexy, pouty mouth.
I used "Halloween Boy" for my image and colored him with Crayola colored pencils, a Prisma skin colored pencil and OMS. He's die cut, embossed and matted onto a black and red card stock from Recollections. The patterned papers are from Teresa Collins and Recollections. I added some red rhinestones and I hand wrote the sentiment. I took my Sakura Gelly Roll glitter pen and added some sparkle to this little guys skin.
I hope y'all enjoyed your stop today here at my blog and I hope to see y'all at Digi Darla this week.

Day 27 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Welcome, friends, to Day 27. I have noticed a drop off of participants in the hop..it's been a long haul for some of you. Thank you to all those who are hanging in there with us. To my Wicked Blogger pals, I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every project you have created. There have been some that piqued my curiosity, some that blew my socks off and some that totally creeped me out. You guys are a talented bunch of artist.
Today's offering is a little card that I threw together quickly. Today was catch up on chores day so I didn't have alot of time to craft. I still have quite a bit to catch up on, but I'm getting there.
I found this green web paper in my scrap bin and thought, hey, this would be good to make a card with. I used a white gel pen to draw some faux stitching to replicate the spider's web threads and attached some little spiders from a confetti pack that I bought a couple years ago. The stamp in the bottom corner is an old one from Inkadinkado. I added some gems and that finished up this quickie.
Thanks for stopping by today. Make sure to check Terra's blog for all the winners, sponsors and rules. Hope on over to Lisa's blog now and she what she has created.

Day 26 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Hello there! Welcome to Day 26. Can you believe our hop is almost over. I don't know whether to be thankful or sad. I'm going to miss seeing all these wonderful projects daily. I have followed most of the blogs so that I can keep up with my fellow Wicked Bloggers.
Today's offering is a card. It's a bit different than most Halloween cards. I did not use any Halloween papers or colors.
I used a Delicious Doodles image. She's colored with Crayola colored pencils. I printed four copies of the frame and did the same technique as on Day 10 with the Gothic Bride. I used a piece of The Paper Studio patterned paper with tons of sea shells on it. I used an Inkadinkado stamp set called Coastal to stamp the row of sea shells on my torn piece of Kraft card stock. It's stamped with Espresso Truffle ink. I used an Inkadinkado sentiment stamped in Espresso Truffle from Memento. I used two punches from the Paper Studio to die cut the sentiment. Adding some gems on the sentiment and on the inside of the frame finished off this card.
Thanks for stopping in today. I hope y'all are having fun along the hop. Make sure to check in with Terra to see if you have won one of yesterday's prizes and to see the sponsors for today.
Don't forget to check out my giveaway post here.
I am going to enter this project into the Scrapbook Stamp Society challenge for this week.

Welcome to Day 25 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop sponsored by Smeared and Smudged. Terra has been working her butt off on this hop and she deserves some love. Make sure you stop by her blog..first one on the list and leave her some.
I want to apologize for the crappiness of the picture for today. My camera decided to not work right so I had to use the web cam on my laptop. I couldn't edit it at all.
I used a cute little zombie from Opal Manor to create this card. I colored him with Crayola colored pencils and fussy cut him out. I used some Spellbinders to make a place for him to rest. The papers are from my stash and the card stock is Recollections and Colorbok. I didn't add any embellies cause I wanted the little zombie to take center stage.
Don't forget to enter into my giveaway...see the Giveaway Post for all the information.
Giveaway Time
Hello there my Horrifying Hoppers and Wicked Bloggers. I have decided to give away not 1 but 2 of the projects I have created so far in this hop. I gave away the Haunted Birdhouse and I sure hope the Vicky enjoys it.
So, the two that I am going to give away are the 8x10 canvas that I created on Wednesday and the 5x7 canvas that my daughter decided to claim, but has since changed her mind since I made another one that uses Melonheadz Friends, Vampires, on it. So, if you would like to be entered into the contest to win either one of these, please leave me a comment on this post. In your comment, please tell me which one you would like to be entered for, or both if you like and....yep, there always an and...#1 tell me your favorite altered art technique and #2 tell me your favorite Halloween time movie or book.
I think my favorite movie of all time for Halloween is Hocus Pocus. I absolutely love Bette Middler in that movie. She's hysterical. My favorite book really isn't a book, but a series of books about the Argeneau family of Vampires by Lynsay Sands. If you haven't ever read her stuff, you have to. She will have you laughing from start to finish.
So, make sure if you want to enter, you do so by Saturday night so that Kierstynne can pick a winner and I can get these mailed out on Monday. Unfortunately, you probably won't get them by Halloween, but you can always use them for next year. :) Good luck
If you want a reminder photo, please see Day 24 and Day 9.

Day 24 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Hello there. It's Day 24 of the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. That means only 7 more days of projects. Kinda sad I think.
Today's project is a 8x10 canvas featuring a stamp from Stitchy Bear.
I began by painting the whole thing with Making Memories acrylic paint in Peapod. I then smeared some Mayco Flat Black acrylic paint strategically around the canvas. I took my hot glue gun and randomly added some strings of glue. I then added some creepy cloth while the glue was still hot. Then, I tore a piece of patterned paper and adhered it with Modge Podge to the right side. Then the fun started. I just kept adding things until I got a look I liked. I added some ribbon flowers, cachabons, gemstones, feathers, and a skeleton. I cut off one of his arms and one of his legs and glued those in different spots on the canvas. I did ink him a little with DI Vintage Photo because he was just too white. The image is a cute little zombie lady that I colored with Spectrum Noir pens and fussy cut, added some pop dots and stuck her on.
It didn't turn out exactly as I had planned, but it's ok, I guess.
Remember to check in with Terra's Blog for the winners of the Scavenger Hunt, rules and sponsors. If you need it, the entire blog roll is to the right of this post.

Day 23 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Howdy, Horrifying Hoppers. Thanks so much for coming back day after day to visit me. I truly appreciate all the great comments that y'all leave for me. I love to read them. If you want to know who won the prizes from yesterday, make sure to check out Terra's blog (she's the first stop along the hop). You can also find the rules and sponsors.
Today I made an actual sized ATC using one of Teri's images from Delicious Doodles. I had one of you great ladies leave me the actual size on my comments so I was able to create the correct size. Thanks so much :)
I think she looks rather inviting..a succubus for sure! I left her in black and white and just added a touch of red to the sheet covering her. I tried my hand at the acrylic paint texture background, but it didn't bubble up very much. Adding the black rose bow finished off this ATC.
Thanks so much, again, for stopping by and I'll see y'all tomorrow.

Day 22 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
It's Day 22 and I have another altered, recycled project for y'all. This time, I had a bit of help. My daughter, Kierstynne, loves to play with all my supplies. She sees my folder of digi stamps on the computer and her eyes glaze over. She wanted to color her first Kenny K image, so she picked out one and colored it with her markers. Yep, that's right..she has her own set of markers and she's not allowed to mess with mine.
I found this jar ring when I was cleaning out my junk drawer and knew I would never use it for canning. But, for some odd reason, I just didn't toss it. I'm so glad I didn't. Here's what I came up with....
I took the ring and drew around the edges to measure the chipboard backing pieces. I hand cut them out then laid one of them onto the patterned paper and cut it out. I hot glued the inside piece and the backing piece to the ring. I then fussy cut Kierstynne's image out and cut a title. I used pop dots to add the witch and hot glue for the sentiment. You really can't see it, but around the outside of the ring is some 1/4" black satin ribbon and 6mm green rhinestones.
I think it turned out pretty good. Of course, I won't ever see it again as it has disappeared into the great chasm that is Kierstynne's bedroom. She has a 4 ft. pink Christmas tree in her room that stays up all year and she adds stuff to it that she wants to display year round. There's lots of Halloween stuff on it right now.
Thanks for taking a break on my blog and I hope y'all have a great day! Make sure to stop by Terra's blog for all the lists and rules.

Day 21 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Hello there, Horrifying Hoppers. Welcome to Day 21 of the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. I'm so glad y'all are joining me for today's post. Remember to stop in over at Terra's blog for the list of sponsors, winners and rules. Also, you can find links to the Smeared and Smudged store, monthly stamp club and lots more.
Today's project is a recycled, altered project. I bought a set of SU stamps from a friend and they were brand new, unmounted on their blocks. I use cling foam (to save space) and thought to myself..'What to do with these blocks'..then it hit me..use them for one of my 31 Days projects. So, that's just what I did.
I began by staining them with Walnut Stain. I only put one coat on them because I wanted some distress. I used papers from Authentique's Thrilling 6x6 pad and DCWV. I inked all the edges and used sticky tape to adhere everything. I had all the papers on, and was ready to glue on the spiders and hand when it dawned on my lightening fast mind.."Hey, dummy, you forgot to add a stamped image." Oh, dang. I had somehow forgotten that each project has to have at least one stamped image...so, what to do? What to do? Turn them over and stamp on the backs. I used a spider web from an Inkadinkado set and the bats and moons from the same set. I stamped the spider webs with Staz On White and the bats with Staz On Black. I added few little spiders and cute little bat to the backs. So now, they do double duty. I can mix and match them when I display them.
Thank so much for stopping by today. I hope y'all are enjoying this hop. Jump on over to Lisa's blog now and see what's she's done up for us today. See ya tomorrow.

Mondays with Digi Darla
Good morning, friends. Welcome to a Mondays with Digi Darla segment. This week, our challenge is "Anniversaries"
There isn't a specification on what type of anniversary, so it could be a birthday, a wedding anniversary, a job anniversary, etc.
I chose to do a wedding anniversary because when I saw this sentiment, I knew I had to use it. Then, I just had to pick an image to go with it. Most people do it the other way around, but hey, I like to think outside the box. :)
I just love this sentiment because I do this to my husband all the time. Having diabetes makes my feet cold, even in the summer, and he's like my own personal hot rock. So, I always stick my feet on him to warm them up..lol
I used an EK Success label punch on the sentiment and added two blue rhinestones to each side. It's on pop dots. The image is called "Happy Couple #5" and I colored it with Crayola colored pencils and OMS. I love orange and blue together. It's such a refreshing combo I think. I used a BIC marker to add some polka dots to the comforter. I cut it down and inked around the edges with Memento Bahama Blue. ( I did the same thing on the sentiment) I used a piece of orange card stock and a piece of turquoise card stock from Recollections to mat the image. The DPs are all from my stash.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope y'all enjoyed my funny little anniversary card. Make sure to jump over Digi Darla's blog and check out the challenge. Hope to see y'all there.

Day 20 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Howdy y'all. It's Day 20 and we only have 11 more to go.. That is so sad. I am really diggin' this blog hop. I'm going to miss it when it's over. I am learning so much and seeing so many great projects. My Wicked Blogger buddies so totally ROCK!
For today, I have made a cute card. I used a Doodle Pantry image called "Frankenbirdie." I think he is so totes cute!
I used a precolored digi for this card. I die cut him with Spellbinders and added a sentiment from the set. The card stock is Recollections and the patterned paper is DCWV. There's not too much to say about this card. It was pretty quick and easy.
Thanks for stopping today. Make sure to hop on over to Terra's blog for all the winners, sponsors and rules. And don't forget to leave some love for all the other Wicked Bloggers on the roll to the right of this post. See y'all tomorrow.

Day 19 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Welcome to Day 19 of the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. I'm so glad y'all could join me.
OK..Ladies..y'all have done it again. I have been seeing so many art journal pages on this hop that I felt the need to try one myself. I found a small 5x5 notebook hidden amidst all the junk in my scrap room and thought..huh..this might work. I took it apart and made my first page.
I realized after taking it apart that the pages were very thin. It's just a regular notebook. So, I glued two pages together and added a piece of Black Recollections card stock to the back. I think I need a different style of journal. If you ladies have any suggestions, please leave me a comment and let me know what I should get.
So, to start, I painted the whole page with Mayco's Softees Acrylic paint in Flat Black. I only put one coat on it. I then took a sponge brush and smeared some Mayco Softees Acrylic Orange Rust on some of the areas. I then crumbled up a piece of copy paper and dipped it in Folk Art Pure Gold Metallic paint and daubed it all over the page. While that dried, I colored in this Sugar Skull from Opal Manor with Sakura Glitter pens and then fussy cut it out. When the page was dry, I adhered the skull and used a White Gelly Pen to write my sentiment.
I'm not sure if this is what I should have done, but I did it . Thanks for stopping by today. I truly appreciate it. Make sure to stop by all the blogs on the roll (posted to the right of this post) and make sure to stop by Terra's blog for the rules, sponsors and winners of the Scavenger Hunt.

Day 18 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Happy Friday, Horrifying Hoppers. Are y'all ready for the weekend? I am. My husband and his father left this morning around 8am for our church's annual men's retreat. He won't be home until late tomorrow night, so Kierstynne and I are going to take her great grandmother out to dinner. Chinese...yes!!
So, for today's project I decided to use an image from Ike so that I can enter her challenge for this week.
I think there is something very sinister and sexy about her. Maybe it's the whip?? I colored her with colored pencils and OMS. One of these days I will remember to do skin tones first. There are a few spots where the black bled over, but hopefully it looks just like shadows. I added some Sakura Glitter pen to the whip and the buckles. The patterned papers are Recollections and so is the polka dot ribbon. The sentiment was already on the image, so I didn't add another one.
Remember to stop by Terra's blog to see if you are winner for the Scavenger Hunt. You can also find today's sponsors and a refresher on the rules. If you need it, the blog list is on the side of this post.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I am so grateful for all the wonderful comments that y'all have left for me. You ladies sure know how to boost a girl's self esteem.

Finally Friday with QKR Stampede
Hello there friends. Today is the start of a new challenge at QKR Stampede. We had so many great entries for last week's Anything Goes with Circles. I wouldn't want to have to pick the winner..whew..but, that winner is #28, Leslie Turner. Make sure to email Jackie for your prize..You can find the email addy on the challenge blog.
This week's challenge is #61, Halloween Fun. Boy, that opens a lot of possibilities. Here's what I created:
I used digi #12306 Trick or Treat. I colored the image with Crayola colored pencils. I want a full set of Prisma colored pencils, but that's going to take a while..maybe my darling husband will get me the 72 pencil set for Christmas. I do have three...two skin colors and a pink. I used Harvest Gold and Slate for the bandages. I used Brown and Black for the bear and Red, Orange and Yellow for the punkin'. The patterned papers are from DCWV and the card stock is Black Recollections. The sentiment circles are from two sets...an old Inkadinkado set and a word set from The Paper Studio. I stamped the words with Versa Magic Puple Hydrangea.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope y'all enjoy your Friday. Have a wonderful day. God bless y'all.

I have been Spotlighted
Good Morning, friends. Guess what?
I sent Teri three of my projects that I had created for the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop sponsored by Smeared and Smudged using her images. I thought she might think them worthy of using in her gallery or something...well, she did and she put them on her challenge blog for the world to see. I am so excited! A whole new set of bloggers are now able to see my work.
If you didn't know that Delicious Doodles has a challenge blog, please check it out HERE. There are new challenges every Friday. Entering the challenge gives you the chance to win 5 wonderful images from the store and if you use a DD image, you can enter twice.
I just want to say thanks to all the Horrifying Hoppers and Wicked Bloggers who have given me the confidence in my dark art to submit my work to Teri and DD. Thanks so much!!

Day 17 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Welcome back for Day 17 of the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. Make sure to check out Terra's blog for all the rules, sponsors and winners of the Scavenger Hunt. And, if you need it, the entire blog roll is to the right of this post.
Today's card is a cute one. I actually had this little image from Inkadinkado's Halloween Cat and Friends colored and just waiting for a project to put it on. I found that project today.
I have to apologize for the darkness of the picture. My camera decided to break on me tonight and I had to scan in the image. Nope, you're not seeing double. I did a drop shadow on the sentiment using Versa Magic in Purple Hydrangea and stamp it twice.
The papers are all from Recollections Halloween collection Haunted Estates from last year. I rounded the corners of the Orange Glitter Dot paper. I used pop dots to add the image, which was colored with colored pencils, OMS and Sakura Glitter pen.
Thanks so much for joining me today. Make sure to come back tomorrow for Day 18.

Day 16 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Howdy y'all. Welcome to Day 16 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop sponsored by Smeared and Smudged. For a complete list of the blogs, please see the links to the right of this post. Also, make sure to visit Terra's blog for the winners of the Scavenger Hunt, today's sponsors and, if you need it, a refresher on the rules.
Today I have a Heather Valentin image called "Voodoo Priestess" for y'all.
I used my colored pencils and OMS to complete this image. I wasn't thinking when I colored this one, or I would have added some gray and black to the background for a spooky sky. I may still go back and add some. Don't ya just love her pet? I think he gives the image an added creep factor. I colored the skull's eyes with a Red Sakura Glitter pen, because you know those Voodoo Priestesses, they can make anything happen. I inked the edges with DI Vintage Photo and matted it onto a piece of Black Recollections card stock. The patterned paper is from a fall stack by DCWV that is probably 4 or 5 years old. The sentiment is from an old Recollections stamp set.
Thanks so much for hopping by my blog today. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Day 15 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Hello there, Horrifying Hoppers. Welcome to Day 15. It's almost the midway point of our hop. Can you believe that? Half way to Halloween already? Man, it's flying.
Today's card uses an image from Jade Draggone. I love her work. If you haven't had a chance to see any of her artwork, check out her work here at Deviant Art.
This one is pretty creepy. I don't think I could work at a Zombie Farm. There's too much of me and I think they would enjoy the feast.
I used a mix of colored pencils, BIC Markers and chalk to create this card. The papers are from Recollections and a tag cut out of a piece of patterned paper from last years Teresa Collins Halloween pack. I added a fabric flower, pearl in the center and some tiny clear gems to finish off this one.
Remember to visit Terra's blog for today's sponsors and the winners of the Scavenger Hunt. If you need it, the complete blog roll is on the right side of this post. We did update the roll so you won't have as many to hop to, but there will be a project on each blog.
Have a wonderful day and I'll see ya tomorrow.

Day 14 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Happy Columbus Day, to those of you who live here in the U.S. I hope y'all are enjoying your day off...if you have to work, I'm sorry..:)
Welcome back to Day 14 of our fabulously creepy 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop sponsored by Smeared and Smudged. Remember to hop your way down the blog roll at the side of this post. Make sure to stop in a see Terra at her blog for a list of sponsors, rules and the winners of the daily Scavenger Hunt.
I have been seeing quite a few ATCs on our hop and I haven't ever tried one. So, for today's project, I thought I would give it a go. I wasn't too sure of the correct size, so I think I made it a bit large. Oh well...the first time isn't always perfect, right?
I used one of Teri's images which can be found at Delicious Doodles. She's called "I'm Baaack!" I think she is creepily gorgeous. I used colored pencils and OMS on her. I wanted her spider veining to show better but I didnt' have a marker with a fine enough point, so I used a #2 pencil. I worked great! I used a white colored pencils to highlight the bone in her arm and her teeth. I fussy cut part of the image and inked the edges with DI Vintage Photo. The card stock is Colorbok, the patterned paper is DCWV and the gems are Queen and Co.
I hope y'all enjoyed your stop at my blog along the way. Make sure you stop back in tomorrow for another project. Have a wonderfully creepy day!

Day 13 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Welcome back, Horrifying Hoppers, to our next installment of the Halloween Blog Hop sponsored by Smeared and Smudged. I am so happy that you stopped by.
Today's card is a pretty funny one. I found this cute image as a freebie at Opal Manor. If you haven't ever been to their site, please do..you can check it out here. Annie has some cutsy images as well as some wicked cool ones. This little guy is a Voodoo Doll. When I first saw the image, I just thought he was cute. I didn't realize until after I had colored him exactly where the stick pins were....
I was going to add a sentiment about feeling like a pin cushion until I realized the strategically placed pin. Then, I just couldn't resist this sentiment.

Colored Pencils, OMS
Card stock: Recollections; Coordinations
Patterned Paper: DCWV
Sentiment: my own
Gems: Queen and Co.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope y'all are having a horrifyingly great time hopping through the blog roll (which will remain on the right of my posts for the duration of the hop). Remember to stop by Terra's blog for a full list of rules, sponsors and the winners of the daily Scavenger Hunt. C-ya tomorrow for another great project.

Hello there Horrifying Hoppers and fellow Wicked Bloggers. Welcome to Day 12. Thanks for taking the time to hop with us. For today, I did another cute card. The images are from Anne Fenton. If you haven't seen any of her work, please visit her HERE and check out her artwork. She also has an Etsy shop. The two images on my card are freebies from Through the Craftroom Door emag.
I used colored pencils and OMS to give some life to this cute witch. I used my chalks to try and give the background some spooky gray clouds. I fussy cut out the witch and used pop dots to add her to the card. The card stock is Recollections, the patterned paper is also Recollections (from last years Halloween stack) and the sentiment is a freebie that I got online.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I truly appreciate all the visits and the wonderful comments that y'all leave for me. Have a creeptastic Saturday!

Sassy Saturday with The Outlawz, Paper A la Mode
Hello there friends. Thanks for joining me for a new challenge over at the Outlawz, Paper A la Mode. Last week our challenge was Doodling. Theresa threw me for a loop with that one. I'm not a doodler. But, I managed to get a card done.
This week, Miranda, has come up with a pretty nifty challenge. It's a color challenge, but the trick is you have to use colors that begin with the first initial of your first name. For example, my name, Emily, I used Eggplant and Evergreen. If you have one of those names that just doesn't have a color associated with it, you can use any color.
Here's what I came up with:
I used a stamp set from Close to My Heart to make this flower. I stamped each petal twice, once in Purple Hydrangea and once in Bamboo Leaves. I used glue dots to put it together. The centers are die cut from a Cuttlebug set of dies. I used Eggplant and Evergreen card stock and a piece of patterned paper from my stash. Adding some pearls finished off this card.
Thanks again for joining me. I hope to see some of y'all's work at the Outlawz this week. God bless and have a great Saturday.

Giveaway Winner
Hi Ladies. This is the post y'all have been waiting for. The winner of the Haunted Bird House.
So, the answer that I was looking for was: Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. I saw that movie for the first time when I was about my daughter's age (9) and it scared the crap out of me. Every time I saw a flock of birds I was worried. Now, I realize it's a classic.
So, here is a list of the commenters who had the right answer:
Here is my daughter shaking up the winner's names:
She is taking her job pretty seriously..lol
And here she is picking a name:
Are y'all getting antsy yet??????
Here's the winner:
OK. Drum Roll please............................and the winner is.........................................................................................................................
Yep, Crafting Vicky. You are our winner. Congratulations. If you will email me at timandem2000atyahoodotcom with your mailing address, I will get this off to you. I hope you will be totally happy with it and display it for years to come.

Day 11 of 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
WHOOOO HOOOO!! It's Friday. Thank goodness. It's been a long week around my house. Not alot of time for crafting this week, so I've been working late into the night to get my projects done. Anyhoo..
Welcome to the 11th day of our hop. To my way of thinking, it's going too fast. I am having such a great time creating dark art that I don't want it to end..maybe a Christmas hop is the works, eh?
So, today's project isn't such a dark one. I had to throw some cute in here somewhere. The image is from Jade Draggone and is called, "Mormelar." I colored her with my colored pencils and OMS. I did add some Sakura glitter pen to some of the jewelry and if you look closely, the skellies have gold teeth..lol
I used my Coluzzle to cut out the image and black mat (Recollections). The patterned papers are all from DCWV. I had to add something to make it wicked, so I used a sentiment from Delicious Doodles.
Thanks so much for joining us today for our blog hop. Remember, you can find the entire blog roll to the right of this post. If you need a refresher on the rules, want to check out the sponsors or are curious to see if you won yesterday's Scavenger Hunt, check out Terra's blog.
Get hopping and make sure you come back tomorrow for another creepy project and later today for the winner for my giveaway.

Fabulous Friday with QKR Stampede
Happy Friday, my crafty friends. Welcome back to a new challenge with QKR Stampede. Thank you to all those who entered a project last week. It was very difficult to pick my favorites.
This week's challenge is an Anything Goes with Circles challenge. I chose to use Digi #9202, I have an Idea image.
After printing out the image, I used colored pencils and OMS to give him some life. I die cut him and then ran it through the Swiss Dots EF. I die cut each circle and mat using Spellbinders. They have been inked with DI Vintage Photo. The stamps are a combination of SU and The Paper Studio. I used the Leafy Branch EF on the background paper and ran some Wild Honey DI over it. I added three leaf brads to finish it up.
I hope that y'all will visit us at QKR Stampede this week and even enter a project. You have a chance to win some great stamps. Have a great day, guys. God bless.

Day 10 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop
Good Morning, my Horrifying Hoppers. Welcome back for Day 10 of our month long hop sponsored by Smeared and Smudged. Terra and Tori have worked very hard to put this hop together. Thanks so much ladies, for all your hard work. Just a little reminder..if you get lost along the way, the complete blog roll is to the right of this post. For a complete set of the rules, sponsors and a list of the Scavenger Hunt winners, please hop over to Terra's blog. Make sure to leave some love while y'all are there.
I wasn't too sure about this whole month blog hopping thing at first. I haven't done alot of dark art, but I think you ladies are pulling me to the dark side. I think I am about to cross over..not full time, but definitely more than I have been. I have been having so much fun doing this hop.
Today, I have created a card using three of Delicious Doodles images. Teri is an amazing artist. For this project, I used the "Pile of Bones" digi paper, "Halloweenie Bones Border" and "Gothic Bride."
This first picture is of the whole card. I printed the border four times and layered them to make it kinda like chipboard. I fussy cut it out and inked it with DI Vintage Photo. I put it on two layers of pop dot squares. The bride is colored with BIC Markers, Sakura Glitter pens and a #2 pencil. I wanted a light shade of gray that I could really manipulate and I didn't have that shade of colored pencil, so I improvised. I fussy cut her out and inked the edges with the DI. I used Basic Gray card stock from SU for the card base, which is 5.5" square. The background paper is from American Crafts. I had a strip of fabric roses from Recollections that were a cream color. I used a Memento Reinker to color them. I cut this one off of the strip and added a few leaf die cuts. I felt like it needed something so I added a burgundy mini rose to the center.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope y'all liked what I had for ya. Remember to keep on hopping to see what the rest of my Wicked Blogger buddies have created for your viewing pleasure.
Remember, today is the last day to enter the Haunted Bird House Giveaway. My daughter will be picking the winner tomorrow.
I am going to enter this project in the Haunted Design House #177 Dimensional Halloween.

Here's a close up of my Gothic Bride.
And a close up of the rose.
This picture shows the card from the side. It's kind of dark, but hopefully you can see the dimension. I think I might go back with a gray marker and shade the pop dots so they aren't quite so stark.
