Adorable Card

Hi y'all.  Thanks for stopping in.  I decided to do something a little different with this post.  I took pictures of the elements of this card before it was put together so y'all could see what I used..

Here are the flowers before they were made.  I used a Lala Crafts Small Rose die and my EK Success small 5 petal flower punch to create them from pink and green card stock and DCWV DP.

Here is the image from Kenny K that I chose to use and the mat for it.  The card stock is from Colorbok  and I used XCut dies. I used BIC markers to color in the image.
These are the squares I die cut with Nestabilities.  The DP is from DCWV and the Old Olive card stock is SU.
I used Fancy Tags Nestabilities to cut these, one in Old Olive (SU) and one in GP White. I trimmed down the white one so that only the embossed center was used.
I cut a panel of DCWV pink and green striped DP.  I ran it through the D'vine Swirls EF.
This is the card base.  It looks a little elongated but it's just the picture.  It's an A2 size base from DCWV and it's glittered.

Ok.  Y'all ready?  Here's the finished card....

To finish up the card, I stamped the word "Adorable" in Versa Fine Black ink and added some pink pearls from Queen and Co to the corners and green pearls to the center of the flowers.

I hope y'all like this one.  I know I do.  I think it's one of my most favorite Kenny K images I have done so far.  Have a wonderful Saturday and God bless y'all.

Romance

Good Morning, y'all.  It's 3:25 am here in the cold state of PA and I am still up.  This insomnia is kicking my butt.  So, I am putting my wakefulness to good use and catching up my blog.

The card I have for y'all today uses a very cute stamp from Great Impressions.  This is the first stamp I have used from this company and I like it.  I makes a very crisp impression.  I didn't do a lot to the image itself because I wanted that vintage look.

The only color on the image itself is on the groom's bow tie and hat band and the bride's flowers in her hair.  I like the way it turned out.  I trimmed it down and matted it on Burgundy card stock from Colorbok.  The mauve colored strip is also Colorbok.  The pink is Recollections.  I used Gina K's heavy base weight ivory for the base.  The DP is DCWV.  I am trying to use up my stash because I am sure there are going to be lots of new product that I am going to want.  I inked all the edges in DI Vintage Photo and added a little flower in the corner.  I didn't put a sentiment on the front because I wanted the focus on the image.  The sentiment is inside.

Thanks for checking in.  God bless y'all today.

In My Thoughts

Hi there!  So glad you could stop in today.  I have a cute card for you today.

I started with a 5x5 card base made from pink Colorbok card stock.  I added a piece of 4.75"x4.75" mint green card stock also from Colorbok.  I cut two pieces of DCWV Fabric paper to 2" x 4.5" strips and adhered them going different directions.  The little praying girl was sent to me by a friend and I used BIC Markers to color her in.  I used my Spellbinders Classic Circles Large die to cut her out.  I inked the edges and matted the image on a mint green Lacy Circles die cut.  I took a pink Lacey Circles die cut and offset it slightly to form the pattern you see.  I used my white gel pen to add faux stitches around the mint green card stock.  I made a pink and green flower and adhered it to the left side of the image, then added four pink pearls, two on top and two on the bottom of the flower.  The sentiment was sent to me by the same friend who sent the image.  I used an EK Success punch on the sentiment and inked it with Memento Lady Bug.

I am entering this card into  two different challenges.  Friday's Sketch Challenge and Crafts4eternity.   I am so happy that you took the time to stop in.  Thanks so much for the sweet comments that you guys are leaving.  I sure appreciate it.  Have a wonderful Saturday.  God bless you.
