Mondays with Digi Darla and Beccy Muir

Good Morning.  Yep, I'm a day late again.  It's Tuesday and I am posting yesterday's cards.

The first one I have for y'all is for this week's Digi Darla challenge.  Our challenge this week is Anything Goes with a Back to School twist.  You only have to do the twist part if you want to.  I used the image "Love to Study" to create my card.

I used my colored pencils to add some life to this cute little girl.  I love to read, so I thought this was a great image for me.  Right now I am addicted to Janet Evanovich's series about Stephanie Plum.  She's a bounty hunter, but she isn't very good at it.  You will laugh out loud while reading these books.  So far there are 20 numbered books in the series with some "in between the numbers" books.  If you are a reader and need a good series, this is it.

I used papers from the Paper Studio and Recollection card stock to create my card.  The sentiment is printed from my Word program.

I hope to see some of your creations entered into our challenge this week.

My next card is for Beccy's Place.  Beccy has created a new set called "Geranium Set".  It has some beautiful images included in the set.

I used Spectrum Noir pens to color in this Geranium.  As you can probably tell, I am not a flower person, so I'm not sure exactly what color these are supposed to be, but I like the blue.  I used three papers from my stash to create the card.  The card base is Colorbok.  I added a bit of yellow ribbon for interest and rounded all the corners.  Adding a few chocolate pearls finished up this card.  Check out Beccy's store for this new set and some other absolutely beautiful sets.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope y'all enjoyed your visit.  Have a great day and God bless.

Beccy's Place Rose Bouquet Set

Hello friends.  I hope y'all are having a great day.  I have another card for y'all today that showcases the new set from Beccy Muir called Rose Bouquet.

I used the single rose and two of the sentiments together to make this card.  I colored the rose blue because that is my MIL's favorite color.  I pulled a scrap of K and Co DP out of my stash and used that for the background.  I tied a piece of colored seam binding around the top of the card after running it through my Fiskars Border punch.  Adding a couple of dark blue pearls from Queen and Co finished off this card.

Here is a peek at the entire digi set:

You get the colored images and black and white when you purchase the set.  You can grab this beautiful set here.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate it.  Have a wonderful day.  God bless y'all.

You are Beautiful

Thanks for stopping by today.  It's Tuesday and just like with the Digi Darla card, my card for Beccy's Place is late being posted.  Feeling punk is for the birds.

I used the precolored digi for this card from Beccy's Rose Bouquet set.  I loved the colors of the roses.

This was a fairly simple card to put together since the image was already colored.  I printed out the image and sentiment and trimmed them down, rounding the corners.  I matted them both on black Recollections card stock.  The card base is a beautiful Lavender from Colorbok.  I printed out a digi paper from online and wrapped a piece of Lavender ribbon around the middle.  I used pop dots to add the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping today.  I truly appreciate it.  Have a wonderful day.  God bless y'all.
