New Release Day at Kenny K

Email for Winners

Welcome friends.  Today is the launch of the new releases by Kenny K.  There are three new beauties ready for purchase...Riot Rachel, Veruca Venom, and Veronica Vamp.   I was picked to use Riot Rachel and I love her.

Isn't she gorgeous?  Our challenge for this time is to use Black.  I am a huge fan of black and red together, so that's what I went with.  I made the roses using a EK Success 5 petal flower punch and my hot glue gun.  I found the tutorial on YouTube, but for the life of me I can't find it again.

DS4J Progressive Christmas Challenge

Hello there.  Welcome to my blog.  Today's post features the freebie from Digital Stamps 4 Joy.  This is a progressive challenge.  Each month, as long as you play along, you will receive a new Christmas image.  This allows you to get a jump start on those cards for next year.  This month's is a beautiful candle.  I followed the Feeling Sketchy #77 challenge to create the card.

I printed out the candle and then used Crayola's and Sakura pens to color it in.  I found that cute poinsettia in my stash and had to use it.

Thanks so much for coming to see me today.  Make sure to hop on over to DS4J and play along.  Have a wonderful day and God bless y'all.

Beccy Muir's Monthly Challenge--January

Hello there, peeps.  Hope y'all are having a great day.  I have created another card for a challenge. Man, I'm on a roll.  The card for this post is for the monthly challenge over at Beccy's Place.  Beccy has some wonderful images.  I was on her design team last year and I loved it.  She is very talented.

I chose Miss Virginia to make my card.  Since it's winter here in NE PA, I went with shades of blue. I used the weekly sketch from Digi Sketch Challenge to create this card.

Didn't she turn out cute.  She's so versatile you could use any colors for her.  She just has such a sweet expression.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I really appreciate the time that you take to stop by and look at my creations.  I love reading your comments to, so please leave me some love. :)  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

New Kid on the Block--Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge Blog

Good Morning, y'all.  It's a super cold Saturday here in NE PA.  5 degrees.  We ran out of heating oil so we stayed at my MIL's house last night so I'm a bit late posting this today.  Our oil is coming today, but our pipes froze last night.  It's so cold here in our house that you can see your breath.

This is my first post as a design team member for Open-minded Crafting Fun.  This is also our very first challenge ever.  We are a bi-weekly challenge blog and have some amazing sponsors lined up for this year.

Our first challenge this year is a "New Technique/New Tool" challenge.  I'm sure quite a few of y'all received some new things for Christmas and can't wait to try them out.  Well, here's your chance.

We have four sponsors for this challenge. Our first sponsor is A Day for Daisies and the prize  for winning this first challenge is  3 images of your choice.

Second, we have Crafty Sentiments Design with a prize of 3 digital images of your choice.

Next is Eureka Stamps with a prize of 5 images of your choice.

And finally, we have Milk Coffee with a prize of 5 digital images of your choice.

So, let's get on with it.  I used an image from Milk Coffee called "Madeline with Retro Outfit".  I tried a new technique using watercolor pencils to make a striped background on watercolor paper.

Recipe:
Stamp: Milk Coffee digital image
Sentiment: stickers from my stash and my computer
Coloring Medium: Crayola Colored Pencils, Gamsol, Sakura Glitter Pens
Cardstock: Colorbok, Recollections
Paper: The Paper Studio, watercolor paper
Embellishments: button from my stash
Tools: Fiskars Trimmer, ATG Gun, glue dots, Spellbinders Classic Circles and Scalloped Circles

I hope y'all will check out our new challenge blog and maybe even create with some of those new tools and products you received for Christmas.  Have a wonderful Saturday and stay warm. :)  God bless y'all.
