Catch the Bug Sketch Challenge
Good Morning. It's Sunday morning and I have a little card for y'all. I hope y'all are enjoying your weekend.
This is what happens when you have a nine year old constantly chattering in your ear. When I put this card together, she was showing me something on the internet and I wasn't paying full attention. The image should actually be turned the other way so that the ladybug is upside down. But, it works this way too.
Thanks so much for stopping in to see me today. I hope y'all have a wonderful day. God bless.

Be Yourself
TGIF. It's been a long week here for us. Everyone is feeling better around here. My father in law is still in the hospital. They have determined that he has something more than pneumonia going on. His sugar is way out of whack too.
I'm so glad that y'all decided to drop in for a visit. I really appreciate the time you spend looking at my creations. It really means a lot to me.
The card I have made for today is an Easel card. I love these, but don't make them too often.
I used one of Anna's image from Cuttlebug Cuties to make this monochrome black and white card.
Thanks again for stopping in to see me. I hope y'all have a great weekend. God bless.

New Release Day at Kenny K

Welcome friends. Today is the launch of the new releases by Kenny K. There are three new beauties ready for purchase...Riot Rachel, Veruca Venom, and Veronica Vamp. I was picked to use Riot Rachel and I love her.
Isn't she gorgeous? Our challenge for this time is to use Black. I am a huge fan of black and red together, so that's what I went with. I made the roses using a EK Success 5 petal flower punch and my hot glue gun. I found the tutorial on YouTube, but for the life of me I can't find it again.
Recipe:
Stamp: Riot Rachel by Kenny K
Coloring Medium: Crayola Colored Pencils, Gamsol, BIC Marker in Rambunctious Red
Inks: Distressed Inks in Fired Brick and Black Soot
Paper: Luca and Lola by The Paper Studio
Cardstock: Darice Co'ordinations in black and red
Gem Spray: Hobby Hobby
Tools: Fiskars Trimmer, ATG Gun, Hot Glue Gun, homemade glimmer mist
Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed my card. I would love to hear what you think about it. I love reading your comments. Have a wonderful day and God bless y'all.

Beautiful
Good morning. Happy President's Day. Kierstynne is off from school today so I am going to use the time to do some laundry and get crafty.
My card for today uses a digi image from Saturated Canary. I used my new Neenah paper and Spectrum Noir pens. I also used some glitter gel pens and a white gel pen to do some highlights.
Isn't she cute? I enjoyed using this image and look forward to using some more from Saturated Canary. I started out making a card base with a chocolate brown from Colorbok. I made it 6x6. I matted the image on the same chocolate brown. I added a strip of lace and a strip of pearls (Jo Ann's) to the left side of the image. The sentiment is from Doodle Pantry and I matted that on pink card stock from Recollections. The DP is from SEI Chocolat. I used a sketch from Mojo Monday to make the card. I added two little pearls from Queen and Co. to the sentiment.
The flower is one that I just learned to make by watching a video on youtube. I took a 12 inch piece of box pleated trim, wound it around my fingers and used my hot glue gun to keep it in place. I punched out a 1 inch circle and added that to the bottom to help keep the rose in shape. I added a Paper Studio brad to the center of the rose. They are so easy to make and they look fantastic. My sweet husband took me to Hobby Lobby on Saturday and I found some rolls of box pleated ribbon for $1.74 on sale. I bought four different colors so I am going to be making some flowers. I think I am going to try different sizes.
Thank you for stopping in today. I pray y'all have a wonderful day. God bless.
