Hello there. I have another card for y'all today. It's a fairly CAS card, which I don't normally do. I like the stuff..:)
As you can see, I think that straight card picture was a one time thing. LOL.
Thanks so much for stopping in to see me today. I hope y'all have a great evening.

Be Yourself
TGIF. It's been a long week here for us. Everyone is feeling better around here. My father in law is still in the hospital. They have determined that he has something more than pneumonia going on. His sugar is way out of whack too.
I'm so glad that y'all decided to drop in for a visit. I really appreciate the time you spend looking at my creations. It really means a lot to me.
The card I have made for today is an Easel card. I love these, but don't make them too often.
I used one of Anna's image from Cuttlebug Cuties to make this monochrome black and white card.
Thanks again for stopping in to see me. I hope y'all have a great weekend. God bless.

Get Well Soon
Hi there. Welcome to my blog. The card I made for this post I am giving to my husband. He is so sick. I hope this makes him feel better and lets him know that I care.
Isn't he a cute little sick bear. And it fits so well with my husband because all he's been able to eat for the past few days is soup.

Christmas Card #2 for 2014
Hello friends. Yep, you read the title of this post correctly. I am making Christmas cards in January. I am going to be ready to mail out cards on December 1st this year. No more waiting til the last minute. So, hopefully I can use up alot of my Christmas products this year and be able to buy new when they come out. :) Seems like a great goal right?
This card was made using product that came free with my Make Christmas Cards Bumper Pack magazine. This is a magazine that is printed in the UK. I buy mine at Jo-Ann's each month and it always comes with freebies. This one came with two stamp sets, lots of paper and tons of cut outs. I love this magazine.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope y'all are having a great day. God bless y'all.

You Strike My Fancy
Howdy ho neighbors. Do you guys remember Mr. Roger's Neighborhood? I loved that show when I was a kid. I wish they would show reruns of that and Captain Kangaroo. Those were my two favorites when I was young. Kierstynne would get a kick out of them.
Today's card follows the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I'm not too good at clean and simple cards. I have noticed that most of the winners and the projects the DT makes are all CAS. So, I thought I would give it a whirl.
I used a set of digi stamps from Sweet and Sassy to make this card. It took me about 10 minutes to make this one.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope y'all have been able to spend lots of time in your craft rooms this week. Have a wonderful day and God bless y'all.
If you have any questions, please leave me a comment. :)

Day 11 of the 12 Days of Creepmas Blog Hop
Welcome to my blog. We are on the Christmas countdown here at my house. My daughter has finished her Christmas shopping and has all her presents wrapped and under the tree. I am not finished shopping, nor do I have anything wrapped yet. I do have all my cards made and ready to be dropped in the mail..yeah, they are going to be late :) and I have finished all my hand made Christmas presents. I will be posting pictures after Christmas because my mom and my mil both read my blog and I don't want the surprise to be revealed.
For today's card, I have used an Ike's Image. I just Suzy's images. She's so creative.
I was feeling not so Christmasy when I made this card. I have been feeling this way for the past few weeks. And now, I have been diagnosed with Shingles. I am in lots of pain but I am pushing through.
I used some papers from the Harper's Bazaar paper pad from The Paper Studio to make this card. I used my Crayola's to color in this chick. The sentiment is mine and the card stock is Recollections and GP.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope y'all have a great day. Make sure to stop in on Monday for the final card in the Smeared and Smudged 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop. I have received my first set of rubber stamps from the club and I am going to use it to be able to participate in Smeared Ink Day. Stay tuned.

Day 10 of the 12 Days of Creepmas
Good Morning! Welcome to Day 10. Can you believe it's less than a week 'til Christmas? Where did this year go? Man, it seems to older I get, the faster time flies...And I wan't having fun the whole time..LOL.
Today's card features an image from Jade Draggone. I think she's kinda cute in a twisted way. She was intentionally designed for Halloween, but just as most of the images I have used along this hop, I made her into a Creepmas image.
I printed off my image onto Neenah Solar White card stock and colored with Crayolas and OMS. After trimming down the image and inking her with Memento Lady Bug ink, I matted her onto a piece of Red card stock from Recollections. The card base is GP card stock. The sentiment is from my computer and the papers are from MME. I added two little candy canes from Jolie's to finish off the card.
Thank so much for all the great comments y'all have left me so far along this hop. It still always surprises me when I log onto my blog and see that I have so many. I hope y'all will continue along the blog roll that is listed on the right side of this post. I will be back on Saturday with another card. Have a great day!

Christmas Baubles at My Time to Craft
Hello my friends. Welcome back to my blog. I have been hard at work crafting away. I'm so bad though, I haven't started my Christmas cards yet. Hopefully I have enough that I have made between last year and this to send out. I'm shortening my list drastically, but still need quite a few.
Today's card is for the My Time to Craft's challenge "Christmas Baubles". I made a CAS card for this challenge.
These ornaments are from one of my first stamp sets and I have no idea who designed it. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a card base made from GP card stock. I colored them with Sakura Glitter pens. I added a sentiment at the bottom. That's it..very simple.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope y'all have a great day. God bless ya.

4.25" Card
Howdy y'all. I'm back with another post for today. I am trying to get everything posted and linked up because I am going to Virginia tomorrow to visit my dad. He isn't doing to well. Back in October he had is knee replaced and had alot of problems with it healing. While he was in rehab, he started bleeding internally and they couldn't figure out why. After running some tests they found out his prostate is messed up and he had colon cancer. Last week he went in for surgery for the colon cancer. He came through that beautifully and the surgeon said she got it all and it hadn't spread. Two days ago, he had a mini stroke which left his right arm pretty much useless. I feel the urge to go and visit with him. It's been over a year since I have seen him. I don't want to put off a visit and then have to live with a load of guilt if anything were to happen to him. So, my husband took tomorrow off and we are leaving in the morning to go for a visit. Please keep my dad in your prayers. He needs all of them he can get.
Now, on to the cards. I made a cute one using an image that I found online for free. I colored it teal with my colored pencils. I added some glitter gel pen to the lace part of the bra. I used a blue glitter gel pen to fill in the ribbon. The sentiment is from Scrapalicious.
I used a medium shade of blue from Colorbok for the card base. I found two scraps of blue in my stash and matted them onto white card stock. I cut out a scalloped circle with my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities and then ran it through the Swiss Dot EB. I used pop dots to adhere the bra on top of the circle. I finished the card and looked back at my list where I realized it was supposed to be a CAS card. This isn't very simple although it's clean. So, I made another card.
This is a CAS card. I used a beautiful burgundy card base from Colorbok. I printed out this Scripture from Doodle Pantry onto GP white card stock. I matted it on light pink from Recollections. I added a lacy circle die cut and wrapped a piece of pink satin ribbon around the front. I added the sentiment with pop dots and this CAS card was finished.
I need to pay more attention to my list. But, I have another card to add to my stash because of my mistake.
Thank you for stopping in today. I hope y'all have a great day. I am going to try and finish up the few challenges I have left on my list and get them uploaded before I leave. If not, I won't be posting again until Monday, so you guys have a great weekend if I don't see ya before. God bless.

Something a Little Different
Well, next Friday is Valentine's Day, so alot of the challenges this past week and this week have been for these types of cards. Well, one of the challenge sites that I participate on was for anything but a square card. I assumed that meant rectangle too, so I stepped way out of the box.
I made this little cutie for my husband. I am going to put it in his lunch box on Friday. I think he's going to be surprised. I sure hope he doesn't get razzed for it.
Kinda sexy right? I had found this corset pattern a few years ago and hadn't had a chance to use it. Well, I finally found a use for it. I used GP card stock for the base of the "card". I used two different papers from DCWV for the corset and added a strip of Recollections red as a belt. I used the same red and punched out corner pieces and lined them up along the top to look like red lace. I added three large deep red flat back pearls in the center to finish it off. I didn't want to add too many embellishments since it's going to work with my husband. I sure hope he likes the little message I put on the back. ;0, I can be so bad sometimes..
I hope you all liked this little sexy note card. I do believe it definitely qualifies for not a square. Have a wonderful Wednesday. God bless y'all.

Flowers and Pearls
Welcome back. :). Don't get tired on me yet. We still have a ways to go.
Today's card is for a new challenge blog that I found and wanted to give it a try. I don't really do Gothic or weird, but I have a few stamps that I think might work for some of the challenges over on Forever Night Creepy Challenge. This is a UK based blog. I want to try and stretch my ability this year, so I thought this blog would be a good start.
This card uses a Zonae Coloring Pages design from the Bratz collection. I thought she looked pretty Goth to me.
I used my trusty colored pencils and OMS to color the image and then cut her out. The sentiment is from Netty's Cards. I used SU and GP card stock. The DP is from Samantha Walker and Studio G. I added some flowers from Recollections and flat back pearls from Queen and Co. to finish off the card.
I don't think it's too far out in left field for me. But, it did challenge me coloring in mostly black as I love color.
Let me know what you think about my little Goth girl. I would love to know what you think. God bless.

First Card as a Digi Darla Design Team Member
Welcome, welcome, welcome. Thanks for stopping by to visit. I sure enjoy it. I wish I could sit down on the porch and have a glass of ice cold tea with y'all, but since I can't, I can only show off some of my work.
This card is my first entry as a Digi Darla new design team member. I am so thrilled to have been picked. I look forward to getting to know all my teamies and seeing all the beautiful creations that are posted each week by the design team as well as the ladies who enter the challenges. The challenge this week is #47, Winter Blues. I chose, of course, a Digi Darla image called Haley's Hat. I think she is pretty snazzy.
I started with a dark blue card stock from Colorbok for the card base. I followed a Mojo Monday sketch from back in September of last year. I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities to die cut the three circles and layered them behind the image. The image is colored with colored pencils and OMS. I used a Midnight Blue from Colorbok for the vertical strip which I matted on white card stock (GP) after running it through a Sixxix Embossing Folder.. I added the image and then a strip of medium blue matted on white and banner cut, run through a Tim Holtz embossing folder, on pop dots to hold the sentiment. The sentiment is from a stamp set by TCP. I inked the edges of the image and the sentiment with DI Vintage Photo just to help it pop out a little bit. Adding five gems from Queen and Co. finished off the card.
Thanks again for stoppin' in to visit me today as I cruise along on my highway of creativity. God bless y'all.

Berry Sweet
Boy, I can't wait for summer. Not for the heat or the swimming or even laying out in the sun. I want strawberries. Nice, big, juicy, pick 'em yourself strawberries. Every year my daughter and my MIL spend the day together picking strawberries at a local farm. I think Kierstynne eats just as many as she puts in the basket. I always send extra money for my MIL to put in the donation jar to cover what Kierstynne eats. There is nothing better than straight off the vine, fresh strawberries. My MIL makes jam from them, I freeze some for Strawberry Shortcake later on in the year, and of course, we eat some of them that day. Nothing can beat it.
When I saw the inspirational challenge over on The Pink Elephant, I knew just what kind of card to make. Yep, you guessed it. A card featuring strawberries.
I used a cute stamp set from Fiskar's called Fresh Fruit. It has quite a few fruit images as well as cute sentiments. I used the strawberry image and stamped it out on GP White card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I also stamped the images on the back of a piece of White Mulberry Paper and a piece of Chocolate Mulberry paper. I colored in the strawberries with my BIC markers. I fussy cut all the images out. Using a glue dot I adhered the mulberry "chocolate" to the strawberries and used a white gel pen and a brown BIC marker to draw drizzles on the chocolate. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black and matted it on a piece of pink card stock and notched out the ends to form a banner.
The background patterned paper is from DCWV and had all the colors I was looking for in it. I pulled out a scrap of brown script paper and a piece of dark red plaid paper that looked like a basket pattern. I cut them down to size and adhered them to the center. Using pop dots, I added the strawberries and the sentiment.
Those "chocolate covered strawberries" look good enough to eat. I can taste them now. I hope strawberry pickin' time gets here soon.
Thanks again for stoppin' in. Have a truly blessed day.

Mojo Monday #277
I have come to the conclusion that I just love the Mojo Monday site. They have some very talented ladies over there who come up with these wonderful sketches. If you haven't already checked them out, I suggest that you do. You won't regret it!
Today's card is a very CAS card that follows Sketch 277 on the Mojo blog. I wasn't sure what I was doing to do when I saw the sketch. CAS isn't one of my strong suits, but I have been trying to get them right. I think I did OK with this one.
I used a piece of paper from Studio G's Valentine's line that they had out last year. Yep, still trying to use up all my old stuff. I cut it down to 2"x2.5" I made sure to get the butterfly on the piece. The stamp set is a little Valentine's/Love stamp from Studio G that I got at AC Moore last year. I stamped in Classic Red by TCP. I matted the image on a piece of dark red card stock from Recollections. The mat is 2.25"x2.75". I adhered them to the middle of the white card base which is from SU. For embellishments, I added two red buttons and a pink one with glue dots. I found this flower in the bottom of my stash pile of flowers and loved the way it looked.
I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Stay tuned for some new challenge blogs and new cards. Thank you and God bless you.

Birthday Wishes
Hello Guys. How is everyone today? I guess if you are reading this, your eyes are still intact and working properly after the previous post. HE HE This one will not be as long. Only one card to showcase today.
This one is for two different challenges. The monthly challenge over on Beccy's Place. You still have 10 days to enter this challenge. You must use one of her images, but she does have quite a few for free. And the second challenge is Sketch Saturday.
I used my colored pencils and OMS for this image from Beccy Muir. Isn't she cute? She reminds me of a little Southern Belle out for a Summer stroll. That little pinafore dress is adorable. The sentiment is from Dessert Diva. I used Memento Dandelion to ink all the edges of the focal image and the sentiment. I matted them on Cornflower Blue by Colorbok. The DP is from my stash and I wish I knew who made it and how to get some more. I just love that cloud design. I used pop dots on the sentiment. The die cut strip I received in a swap and don't know if was made from a die, a punch or a die cut machine, but I like it and thought it fit perfectly here. The two sunflowers I found in my stash. The card base is Navy Blue from SU.
I sure hope you all enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it. I sure hope you all are having a great week and I will you blessings.

Let it Snow
Good Morning crafty friends. How is everyone today? I have a cute card for you today.
For this card, I used an image from Anne's Stamps 4U by Anne Fenton. Anne is also one of our sketch artists over on the Outlawz Challenge site which can be found HERE. She is a very talented artist. I used my colored pencils and OMS for this image. I cut the image to 3.5"x3.5" and inked the edges with a light blue from Cat's Eye. I cut a panel from True Blue card stock from Recollections that measures 3.75"x3.75" and matted it a little wonky. The DP is a Christmas pattern from DCWV cut to 4"x5.25". The sentiment is from Dessert Diva. I printed it out on GP White 110# card stock and trimmed it down to fit the card. I inked it with the same color blue from Cat's Eye I attached it to the bottom right corner. I used Whisper White card stock from SU for the card base.
I used four snowflake cutouts that I received from my precious friend, Jan, who has just moved into the blogging world a couple months ago. Go check out her blog HERE. She is an amazing card artist and also does a devotions page attached to her blog. I took those snowflakes and ran them through my Xyron and then dipped them in white glitter. I used pop dots to adhere the ones on the image and a glue dot to form the O in snow. The left bottom was a little bare, so I added three dark blue gems to finish off the card.
I am entering this card into three challenges: Shopping Our Stash. This is the first card I am entering on the challenge site. The theme for #85 is Suits Me to a T. We are required to use two items from our stash that begin with the letter "T". I chose True Blue card stock and Tube as in snow tube. Through the Craft Room Door has an anything goes challenge. Also, QKR Stampede whose theme is #22 Cold and Frosty. I do believe this cutie qualifies for cold and frosty, don't you?
Thanks for stopping in and taking the time to look at my creation. I truly appreciate it. Have a great day and God bless you all.
