New Challenge at Melonheadz Friends

Happy Monday, friends.  Thanks for joining me today for a new challenge at Melonheadz Friends. Our last challenge, "Winter Fun" brought some amazingly creative cards into our blog.  I'm glad I don't have to pick the winner.

This challenge, since it's the Valentine's season, is of course, "Valentine's".  We all have that special someone or someones that we need to make cards for, so here's your opportunity to get a few made.

Y'all know that me and my redneck self loves "Duck Dynasty".  My daughter's favorite character on the show is Uncle Si.  She thinks he is hysterical.  For Christmas, she had a list a mile long of things with Uncle Si on them.  So, I made this card for her.

I think he turned out pretty good.  As you can see, he has his infamous blue tea glass.  On the front, I used Phil's quote, but on the inside it says "That's a fact Jack", which is Uncle Si's quote.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today.  I hope y'all will hop on over to Melonheadz and check out what my design sisters have created.  Have a wonderful Monday and God bless y'all.

Challenge #12 Clear It Out

Clear it Out Challenge Blog

Welcome back to my blog, friends.  So happy to see ya.  Today is Tuesday and that starts a new challenge over at Clear It out.  Our entries last week were amazing.  If you joined in, thank you so much.  If not, how about joining us this week?

Our theme: Blues
Stash Items: Ribbons, Twines, Fibers

Our sponsor this week is the wonderful

I chose to use "Victorian Winter Emily" as my image for this card.

Isn't she precious?  I love her, and not just because we share the same name..:)  I could see myself living back in the days where we dressed like this.  Gone with the Wind is right up my alley as far as the clothing goes.  I'm not so sure I would want to live without the running water and electricity though.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope y'all will consider joining in our challenge this week.  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Good Morning.  Guess what day it is???  It's Hump Day...yeah!  I still love that commercial.  It's one of my favorites, but I was disappointed Monday night when the top funniest commercials of 2013 came on and this one wasn't on there.  It should have been.

So, let's get to why you stopped by.  Our new challenge for The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is sponsored by

I have been on a pink kick the last few days with my cards.  I have also learned to make these adorable roses with a EK Success 5 petal flower punch.  I love the size of them.  They aren't too small and they aren't huge, either.  I have a larger 5 petal punch, but it seems to make them just a bit big.

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit me today.  I hope you have enjoyed the eye candy. Have a wonderful day and God bless y'all.
