Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge #171

My First Post with MFP Sketch with a Twist

Good Morning.  Happy Fool's Day.  I always hated this day.  I don't know why, I just did.  

But, it's also Tuesday and that means a new challenge with Marks' Finest Papers, Sketch with a Twist.  This is my first post as a DT member with MFP.  I was so excited to be accepted to this position.  I started entering the challenge there just a few months ago and was privileged enough to win a few.  When the DT call went up, I applied.   So now, with 12 design teams under my belt I think I'm full for a while. :)

Our sketch this week is a pretty straight forward one.  The twist?  To make a pocket on your card.

Special Day

Hi!  I told y'all I might be back with another card and I did manage to get another one done tonight. This will be my last for tonight.  My hubby should be home in about an hour and we are headed to Walmart.  What does that say about the thrilling life I lead?  My daughter does away for the night and we go to Walmart for dog food.  LOL. 

The card I got made uses two of my favorite colors, purple and green.

 I think it turned out pretty cute.  I love that little bird.  He has such a sweet face.
