Hello friends. Thanks for coming back to my blog. I truly appreciate it. I have a great card for y'all today. I know it's not October yet, but Breast Cancer is a big issue. So, for one of the challenges I am entering this card in, it's Monochromatic and I thought Pink..
This sassy image is from Milk Coffee. I used my colored pencils to add the color. All of the papers are from my stash so I'm not sure who designed them. The only one I know for sure is the very back one which is The Paper Studio. The Light Pink card stock is Recollections. I added some pink gems from Queen and Co to finish up the card.
Thanks for stopping in today. Have a blessed day!

Am I Beautiful Yet?
Good morning y'all. What a beautiful start to our weekend. The sun is shining, a nice breeze is blowing and God is so good.
Thanks for stopping in for some eye candy today. I have a Gothic card for y'all today. I chose an image from Ike's World to make this card.
After printing off this image onto Neenah card stock, I colored her with BIC Markers and Spectrum Noir pens. I colored in the spikes on her collar and the cross earring with a Metallic Silver pen. The image is trimmed down, distressed and inked with DI Black Soot. I used Recollections Black and Purple card stock for the mats and the background. The DP is from last year's Recollection Halloween collection. You can't really tell, but the Dark Purple stripe is glittered. The flower is Recollections and that purple and white polka dot brad is about 7 years old. I don't even remember where I got it. I printed out the sentiment and trimmed and inked (Versa Magic Purple) it, matted it on a piece of black card stock and adhered it onto the side.
I hope y'all enjoyed your visit today. Enjoy your Saturday. God bless y'all.

Beauty is the gift of God card
Welcome back friends. It's good to see ya. I have a card for y'all that showcases one of Shelly's Images. Check out Shelly's site here.
One of the challenges I am entering this card in gave us a theme of creating your own background. I used chalks to create the back ground behind the horse. I sure hope that counts as creating your own background. I printed out the image on GP card stock and colored it with colored pencils and OMS. I added some silver gel pen to the bridle findings. I had this cute little fence in one of my Recollections sets. I stamped it three times and cut them out after coloring them with BIC markers. I added them along the bottom of the card and pulled out some little Prima flowers to add along the fence. I should have added some vines, but oh well, my flowers are just floating in air. I stamped the little bluebird and cut him out and added him to the card with a pop dot. The butterfly and bee are from the same Recollections stamp set that the fence is from and I think it's called Garden Gnome.
I trimmed down the image to 4"x5.25" and put it on a Kraft (Recollections) card base. I inked the edges with DI Vintage Photo before adhering it. The sentiment is one I received in a RAK. Adding a few little gem centers to my flowers finished off the card.
Thanks for stoppin' by. I hope y'all enjoy Monday. God bless y'all.

How Tweet It Is
Oh my..How tweet it is indeed. Thanks for droppin' in today to see what I have created. I think you will like this one.
The image for this card is from Shelly's Images and then sentiment is from Nina Brackett's Heartily Yours.
When I went to Hobby Lobby this past Saturday I picked up my first Versafine ink pad in Onyx Black. I LOVE it. It's so crisp and clear. I am still a Memento fan, but I really like the Versafine. I colored in this image with my Spectrum Noir pens. After trimming down the image, I inked the edges with DI Vintage Photo and added some faux stitching. I made the card base from SU Whisper White and layered DPs from Cardmaker's Magazine. I used a green and pink card stock from Recollections as mats. I tied some pink embroidery floss around the card and tied a bow to finish off the card.
I hope y'all liked this little bluebird tweet card. God bless y'all and have a great day.
