Ike's World #22 Midway Post

Hello friends.  Thanks for joining me for our midway post over at Ike's World Challenges.  Our theme for this challenge is FEATHERED FRIENDS.  There are some really pretty images that fit this theme in the Ike's Art Store.  Take a gander.

This sweet little birdie is an image called Blue Tit Rowan and she can be found in the store.  I used some Frosted Lace Stickles to add the "snow" to the berries and branch.  I looked up the bird on the internet to try to make it as realistic as possible.  Hope I did them justice.

Thanks again for stopping by.  I hope y'all have a wonderful day.  God bless.

Ike's World Challenge #21 Midway

Welcome to the midway post for Ike's World Challenges.  I am so excited to be part of this great team.  This is my first post with the team.

You have until Monday, September 15th to play along with our challenge.  The theme?  Anything Goes. You can use any image to enter the challenge, but to be chosen for the Ike's prize and Top 3, you must use an Ike's World image.

This little cutie is called My Swing and can be found in the Ike's World Store here.  I used my new Spellbinders Foliage dies and roses from The Paper Studio on this card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I truly appreciate all the great comments that y'all leave for me.  Have a wonderful day!

Valentine's with Ike's World

Hello y'all.  Thanks for stopping in tonight.  I have a couple of post to make for tonight.  I've been making some last minute Valentine's Day cards.  I need to get a couple in the mail tomorrow.

We are in line for another snow storm on Wednesday.  I sure hope they either change their minds about the totals or that it misses us all together....16-28 inches.  Really??  I am not looking forward to that.  I sure hope the good Lord spares us.

My first card uses an image from Ike's World.  For those of you who have used Ike's images, y'all know that she can be a bit off kilter with her images.  So, with that in mind, I decided to make an off kilter Valentine's Day card.

A bit different, right?  My daughter's best friend loves horses.  She has started taking riding lessons and is trying very hard talking her parents into buying her a horse.  It's not working very well.  I told my daughter that she could give this card to her BFF for Valentine's Day.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope y'all enjoy the rest of your evening.  God bless.
