Hello Friends. I received my new The Stamps of Life die hard club envelope last week. This month's stamp set is called "Hot4Balloons". I really like it. There are some great sentiments in the set. There is also an accompanying set with more sentiments and designs.
If you haven't heard of The Stamps of Life, you have been missing out. They are wonderful. Each stamp is detailed and stamps perfectly. And they smell divine. I love to smell new polymer stamps. They also have the Die Hard club. You will receive the new monthly stamp and the coordinating die for less than $25 per month.
So, here's the first card that I have made with this new set:
I had to finagle this card. The example came in the stamp and die set, and the base is actually a die that you can purchase from The Stamps of Life and it's called the Square Stand Up die. I do not have it, so I just used a metal ruler and X-acto knife to create the base. The papers are MME and the clouds and sun are part of the die set.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope y'all have a wonderful day and God bless.
Journey along with me as I travel the road of my life. It may not be always an exciting journey, but it is mine and I will live it to the fullest.
2014 Life Verse
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6

The Stamps of Life Cards
Hello there. Today I have three cards to show. I have fallen in love with The Stamps of Life stamps by Stephanie Barnard. I have joined the Die Hard Club over at The Stamps of Life. That means that I not only get the new stamp for the month, but a coordinating die set too. I love them. All of the dies are made by Sizzix just for Stephanie's stamps.
The first card uses the sets Froggy2Love and Sayings4froggy.
This cute set of boots comes in the boots4rain set and the zebra striped part is in the patterns4boots set. I stamped the outline image first in Memento Tuxedo Black and then added the pattern in Primrose Petals from SU. The raindrops are in the stamp set as is the rain puddle, which I created using three different shades of blue Distress Ink.
This is my first "Card in a Box" card. It looked hard to me at first, but it's really not. I love the way it turned out. This set, called crazy4daisy, was a monthly club set and came with the dies. I wanted a more defined look, so I hand cut the flowers. The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch and I used Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Circles to make the layers. I really love the way this one came out.
Thanks for stopping by today. I truly appreciate the time y'all take to come see me. Have a wonderful day and God bless.
The first card uses the sets Froggy2Love and Sayings4froggy.
This set comes with an outline image of the frog as well as a full color image. I stamped the full color image first with Memento Bamboo Leaves and then used the outline stamp on top with Memento Tuxedo Black. The lily pad is done with Distress Ink Peeled Paint. As you can see, I used the die set that coordinates. The sentiment is from the Sayings4Froggy set.
I am entering this card in the Hiding in My Craftroom challenge "Critters".

Hello peeps. I am just a tad late posting this card. Our new challenge over at Paper A La Mode at the Outlaws this week is "To Use Something on Your Card that Starts with the FIRST Letter of Your Name." Our generous sponsor this week is Scrapbook Stamp Society. Make sure to stop by and show some love to Sherry.
For my card, I used an image called Ella Bella Buttons and the color Eggplant.

Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope to see your entry this week at PAM.
Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Birthday Wheel
Good Afternoon. I hope y'all are enjoying your Sunday. It's still cold here and we are supposed to get another 3-4 inches of snow today. :(
I finally joined my first monthly stamp club. I have been wanting to do this for a while. I have been researching the different clubs out there and I finally settled on one. I decided to go with The Stamps of Life by Stephanie Barnard. I love her stamps and you can chose to join either the stamp club of the stamp and die club. I chose the stamp and die club. Each new set of stamps that you will get each month has coordinating dies to go with it. I really liked that idea. As you know, I do alot of fussy cutting and having the dies is going to make it much easier for me.
I have two sets so far. I have made a card from each set.
The first one is Popcorn2stamp and it comes with one image of a popcorn container, three solid and three outlines of popcorn pieces and 7 sentiments plus an oval outline stamp.
Isn't this hilarious? I love it. I stamped and die cut all the popcorn pieces, the container and the sentiment. All of the 7 sentiments will fit into the oval. I used papers from Snap by Simple Stories and some black and white baker's twine to make this card.
There is also a companion sentiment set Word4popcorn which has 14 sentiments and three polka dotted popcorn pieces.
The second set that I have gotten is called Spinner2stamp. This one comes with the spinner base, the triangle shape, the spinner, 8 sentiments and 4 images to add to the triangles.
I stamped the base and spinner with Memento Tuxedo Black and die cut them. I then used different shades of Memento Ink and stamped 6 of the triangles, stamped the sentiment and images and die cut them. I used my Xron Tape thingy to add the triangles. I used a white brad to attach the spinner. The balloons are from a sticker set that I have had for a couple of years now. Nothing like using up that stash. :)
The companion set for this stamp set is called More Spinner Ideas 2 Stamp and has 16 sentiments, a spinner with heart in the middle and three triangles with patterns.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I can't wait to see what next month's club set is. Have a wonderful had and God bless.
Challenges:
Digi Sketch--Use Green
Cardz4Guyz-#4 Use Spots and Stripes (the stripes are in the spinner and on the balloons)
Fab N Funky--#202 Use Brads
Penny's Paper Crafty--#163 Something New, Something Old (New-stamp sets; Old-brad and baker's twine)
Creative Fingers--#22 Dies and Punches
Avenue 613--Anything Goes
