Love at Easter

Welcome back.  Thanks for taking a peek at my card. I know that Easter is over, but I can add this to my stash for next year.

The image is a freebie from Paper Craft World.  I used Chromatix pens to color in this little cutie.

After coloring him, I cut him out with my Cutterbees.  I made a 5" square card base from SU Old Olive card stock.  The DPs are from GTD and I got them at Tuesday Morning for $1.99.  Told y'all I loved that store.  I followed a sketch from Feeling Sketchy to make this card.  I matted the polka dot panels on Old Olive just to give them a bit of separation from the back ground.  I had the sentiment in my stash from a long time ago and I think it came from Studio G.  I used Versa Magic Spanish Olive to stamp it.

Thanks again for stopping in.  Have a wonderful night.  God bless y'all.

Pyramid Flower

Howdy y'all.  I have a first for ya.  This is my first pyramid card.  This image is from Printable Heaven. They have over 150 freebies on their blog.  I used one of the freebies for this one and it's called Thistle Sage.

I cut out the images and used pop dots to stack them. The card base is Rich Razzleberry (SU) and the strip across the middle is Old Olive (SU).  The DP is ATD and I pulled a piece of ribbon from my stash.  It's a very CAS card, but I like it.  I enjoyed using this type of image and have another one coming in the next post.

Thanks for stopping in today.  God bless y'all.

Kiss Me Quick

Welcome back to my blog.  I have another St. Patty's Day card for you this time.  I used an image from QKR Stampede for this one.

This little leprechaun is just too cute.  I printed out the image on Neenah card stock and colored him with Spectrum Noir pens.  I took my blender pen and going in circle, gave him some texture.   I also gave him some dark green eyes although you can't really see it in the picture.  I trimmed down the sentiment and matted it on green card stock from Recollections and used some pop dots to add it to the corner.  I added some glittery shamrocks just for interest.

I made a card base from the same green card stock and added a piece of DCWV back ground paper before adhering the image.

Thanks for stopping in for a quick visit.  I truly appreciate it.  God bless y'all.

An Anniversary Waltz

I have an anniversary card y'all this morning.  The image is a Doodle Pantry image that I colored with my American Craft's Chromatix markers.  I also used my BIC markers for some of the elements.

I started this card with a card base made from SU Basic Black.  I used a piece of fancy paper from DCWV that I have been hoarding. My daughter keeps threatening to call the show Hoarders if I don't start using up my stash.  I keep telling her I'm not a hoarder that I'm a collector, but she doesn't buy it.  I also die cut a piece of silver glitter card stock to mat the image on.  I inked the edges of the image with DI Vintage Photo and used some ribbon from Offray.  To finish up the card, I added some black pearls from Queen and CO.

Thanks for looking at my project.  I truly appreciate it.  God bless y'all.

Beary Cute

Hello friends.  Come on in.  Kick back and sit a spell.  Hope y'all are doin' good today.  I have something for y'all to see.

Cute, right?  I pulled out one of the first stamps I ever bought for this card.  I have been using alot of digis and thought I would go "old school" for this one.  This is a Hot Off the Press stamp from Paper Wishes. I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Very Vanilla card stock from SU.   I colored him with my colored pencils and OMS.  The little blocks in the corners come in the same stamp set along with the Beary Cute sentiment.

To put this card together, I started with a white card base from Gina K.  It's a standard A2 sized card.  I cut a piece of Old Olive from SU to 4"x5.25" and ran it through the Swiss Dot Embossing Folder.  The next layer is the light green plaid from American Crafts which is cut at 4.75"x3.5".  I used my Cuttlebug to cut out the image with Spellbinders Nestabilities in Classic Circle Large and Petite Scalloped Circle Large.  While still in the die, I used DI Peeled Paint ink to sponge around the perimeter of the image. I matted the image on the scalloped circle.  Before adhering the image to the card, I wrapped a piece of cream colored ribbon from Offray around the plaid paper and tied a knot on the right hand side.  I then used pop dots to adhere the image.  I stamped the welcome greeting in Memento Rich Cocoa onto Very Vanilla card stock, trimmed it down and inked the edges with DI Vintage Photo.  I centered the greeting towards the bottom.  I stamped five little block images, colored them with my colored pencils and fussy cut them out.  They were run through my Xyron and adhered to each corner.  The fifth one is on the inside.

I am so glad you decided to come on in and sit a spell.  It's time for me to go, but I will be back to visit with you soon.  God bless y'all.
