Clear It Out Challenge #36

Hello, friends.  Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope y'all are having a great Tuesday.

This week's challenge at Clear It Out is a KISS challenge.  We all know what that means right.  Well, I'm am just not good at these cards.  I have a hard time keeping it simple.  I made two cards for this challenge and didn't like either one.  I finally decided to add a bit of stuff and liked it much better.

I love the sentiments that came with this cute set from Deedee Designs..  It's calle "Bee-lieve".  Adding some patterned papers made me like the card much better.

Thanks for joining us for this challenge.  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Clear It Out Challenge #33

Happy Tuesday.  Welcome to my little piece of the world.  It's a nice day here today.  After days of rain, it's nice to see the sun.

Today starts our new challenge at Clear It Out.  We enjoyed seeing all the great entries from our last challenge.  Thanks for joining us.

Our theme this week is to use "ICE CREAM COLORS".  When I was making my card, I seemed to forget that.  But, it turned out pretty well anyway.  I used Orange Sherbet and Chocolate Ice Cream.  Not the most appetizing combo, but it fits the theme.

Our sponsor this week is:

Meljen's Designs :: Digital Stamps by Melissa Jenkins

I fell in love with this cute little Platypus when I saw it.  He's so adorable.  I used a sentiment from Stampin' Up and a flower gem that I had in my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I would love to see your cards in our challenge this week.  Have a wonderful day and God bless.

Clear It Out Challenge #28

Good morning.  Can you believe that the month of May is almost over?  We will be half way through 2014 in two blinks.  It's crazy how fast this year is going. School is almost over for the year and my baby is going to be in 5th grade next year.  I just can't imagine it.  We have two more field trips with the school before June 17th.  Then lots of fun stuff for the summer planned.

Since it's Tuesday, that means a new challenge has started over at Clear It Out.  Our theme is "Vintage" and our stash item is "Pearls".

Our sponsors this week are

and

I used an image from Stitchy Bear for my card creation this week.  We don't pick which sponsor we want to use.  Our wonderful leader, Laura, assigns us which sponsor to use.  I think that's great because it challenges me to use ones that I wouldn't normally use.  Thanks, Laura, for stretching my boundaries.

Isn't she just so pretty.  I love her curls and her bonnet.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope that y'all have a great day.  God bless.
